Amazing new/modern condo-Walk to beach, Marina and pools. Red Hook/bars near by!

This 1 bedroom unit has been 100% renovated. I've seen numerous units in Sapphire Village and this is the nicest, most modern in the complex! New floors, bathroom, paint, furniture, spectacular bar connected to the kitchen, granite countertops throughout, backsplash, 55in flat screens in bedroom and living room and unit has high speed internet. It has gorgeous views of the ocean, marina and St. John from your private patio. It's a 3 minute walk to Sapphire Beach for an excellent day of snorkeling and relaxing. Sapphire Beach Bar has great food/live music. It's a 2 minute walk to two different swimming pools and the marina, where you can do snorkeling trips, boat trips to other islands, including British Virgin Islands. Condo is a few steps from a very nice restaurant/bar, Sudi's, which is awesome! Less than 1/2 mile away is Red Hook which has many excellent restaurants and bars. Condo has a king size bed, full kitchen, living room and everything you'll need for your stay. Split A/C units in the bedroom and living room keep the condo very cool. Full-size fridge, bar with bar stools, patio furniture and games in the condo. Laundry available onsite and TV has Netflix. Onsite maintenance staff are very friendly and responsive.

Totally Relaxing and beautiful
Very nice unit, Clean modern and super comfy bed! AC works great. Super view of water and marina. Beach chairs and snorkeling equipment saves money. Quiet building and complex. Excellent restaurant and bar 5 minute walk. Easy 10 minute walk to beach. Easy drive to popular beaches. Really excellent unit and vacation !!!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! It’s in a safe and comfortable location, which made me feel at ease even when arriving late. The condo was clean and updated. Appeared to be well stocked, but we did not cook while there, as it was a very short trip. The only issue was there was a lobster carcass outside of the front door, in the hedges, so there was a fishy odor when we were coming and going. Other than that it was a pleasant experience.

Cons: Condo could use some fresh paint. Maybe a better cleaning service. Hair in the sink, mildew in shower grout, and dust on the ceiling fan. Pros: AC unit works well, good location if you have a car, king size bed with nice tv and AC in bedroom. Be aware of power outages. Our entire last day the power was out, not the hosts fault, but an issue nonetheless.

VRBO Sapphire Beach Pros: 1. Great location - easy walk to Sapphire Beach 2. Renovated condo 3. Fully stocked kitchen 4. Host responsive if he feels a fair concern. 5. Housekeeping responsive Cons: 1. Condo not cleaned upon arrival (Host gave a $75 gift certificate to dinner while housekeeper brought clean sheets and towels. Housekeeping came back in the morning to do a deeper cleaning) 2. Routine scheduled non-emergency cleaning of the two AC Units was scheduled during our stay that took hours which we couldn’t leave. Biggest concern was that the Host did not see this as an inconvenience to us. (One unit is in the bedroom and the other was in the living room. Needed to move all our things off the dresser and cabinet so furniture could be moved. Workers needed access to the kitchen sink, too.) 3. There are over 20 steps to the unit that you need to use to go down to the first floor unit. No elevator. 4. View is pretty but there is a service road before the water. (Nice, but not what we expected.) Overall, still a good value but know ahead what you are getting. Ask Host ahead of time if routine maintenance will be done. If we had known, we would have selected another property or negotiated reasonable credit. For us, this is exactly why we use VRBO instead of owning our own second home. This is an ownership issue and not a rental/guest issue.

We had a wonderful time at Sapphire Village. Raleigh’s condo was close to everything: the beach, restaurants, laundry, the pool and ferries to other islands. Raleigh was responsive to every question and checked in to be sure we were settled. We’d definitely stay here again!

Quick but great stay.
My friend and I stayed here for just one night before starting our island hopping. Well equipped, seemed to have everything you’d need for a longer stay. Comfortable bed, great A/C, close to pool/bar and beach.
