Excellent Rustic Cabin
I, my girlfriend and our border collie comfortably stayed at this cabin for two nights. Great location nestled in a scenic valley next to a creek. It was a perfect base camp for our hiking adventures and walking up and down the remote road it was situated on at night with our headlamps was super fun!! Highly recommend this place for a budget friendly stay

Gorgeous spot on the river
Super cute tiny cabin with communal fire area and the Red River across the street. It was exactly what we wanted. My only complaint would be that the bathroom could use some attention. I think there is a mold issue and it looks like y’all gave up when you got to the space behind the shower. I would rent again, though. I can bring my tools and some lumber with me. Maybe we can trade work for a stay? 😉😉

Quiet, relaxing getaway.
If you want to be out in the country, with a great view from the front porch, and like a very quiet vacation in the middle of some amazing hiking trails, this is just right. You might be surprised how secluded it is.

Scenic cabins
We couldn’t get the cabin to lock so we contacted the owner and she stated she would have someone come lock it. When we returned to the cabin, our things were in an unlocked cabin all day. They never came and locked it. At the end of our stay we went to the owner's office during business hours to tell them the cabin was unlocked. They had a curtain drawn so we called them on the phone and they stated they were open , but hadn't opened the curtain. We thought this was unprofessional. 3 business days after our stay we sent owner feedback and never heard from them.

Not as Advertised
Far from private. They managed to squeeze 3 "cabins" right next to each other. You share the same parking spots fire pits and sitting areas. They are even angled towards each other. Not close at all to the Gorge. VRBO gives you an approximate location which makes it look close but it is located on a side road that does not connect to 615. It is about 30 minutes to nada tunnel and another 15 to most trails. Not a big deal but should 100% be on the listing that there is no signal in the area you need to drive 5 minutes to get service as well as no wifi. Had to reach out to the host for the door code who asked me to go to the main office for a "key". Ended up just being a door code that they could have sent rather having me drive 30 minutes out of the way to their office. My conclusion this place is owned by a company that owns a lot of properties and doesnt care about there quality as long as the money is flowing. Will never rent this place or any other from this company.

Mismatch turned new leaf
First cabin didn't work because huge crowd appeared next door. We were switched from Fern Valley Sweetheart to Serenity, and remainder of time was great - quiet and beautiful.

Undesirable
Not enough effort from the cleaning crew. Shower was short of pitiful. Nasty looking kitchen sink. There are several repair/updates needed!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No phone service or internet. Appears no TV availability. If you like the wilderness, this would be your place
