There was nothing "wrong" with the hotel but it wasn't better than OK either. Especially for the price which, compared to other hotels, was reasonable but, after staying and experienceing the place first hand, was far too expensive.
We don't need a large room but for a double, the size and ameneties in the room were very poor. One small desk and a few hooks were all we had for our stuff for a 3 night stay. The bed area ws so small one could barely get out if it without banging into the wall. And the bed was not very comfortable or supportive.
The cleanliness was OK but there was a bit of mold in the shower area of an otherwise spacious bathroom that however had no shelf and only offered two, rather small, bath towels.
While the location in Gamla Stan was exactly what we wanted and, for the most part, the street noise wasn't too bad, early in the morning, the garbage and delivery truck noise was quite loud.
It was not a bad place but, I would not stay here again.
