Great location right in the old town. Disappointed by this hotel. On our final day I woke up to an insect in the bed. I had also overhead a couple the night before complaining at reception about insects in their room, so this is obviously an issue at this hotel. I would have mentioned it at checkout but wasn’t asked how the stay was or anything like that, just ‘thank you goodbye‘ which I think says a lot. Feels more like a hostel than a hotel. Hotel felt secure with multiple keycard locked doors to access rooms.

There was nothing "wrong" with the hotel but it wasn't better than OK either. Especially for the price which, compared to other hotels, was reasonable but, after staying and experienceing the place first hand, was far too expensive. We don't need a large room but for a double, the size and ameneties in the room were very poor. One small desk and a few hooks were all we had for our stuff for a 3 night stay. The bed area ws so small one could barely get out if it without banging into the wall. And the bed was not very comfortable or supportive. The cleanliness was OK but there was a bit of mold in the shower area of an otherwise spacious bathroom that however had no shelf and only offered two, rather small, bath towels. While the location in Gamla Stan was exactly what we wanted and, for the most part, the street noise wasn't too bad, early in the morning, the garbage and delivery truck noise was quite loud. It was not a bad place but, I would not stay here again.

Was good for what it was - relatively affordable accommodation in a pricey but desirable area. The main draws of this property are its price and location, but don't expect anything amazing from the property itself.

A good choice, great privacy and lovely location
A great central location and very comfortable room that was exceptionally quiet. There was a problem at check in as I was given a room without private bathroom but when I returned to Reception to point out that I had booked a room with en-suite this was corrected with an apology. I particularly liked the fact that over a five night stay I was left entirely to myself to come and go as I pleased without any interaction with hotel staff. I really enjoyed that privacy

Good location once access was figured out for check-in. Good sized room and pillows. Linen was clean. Shared bathrooms were very busy on weekend days we were there in the bathrooms were all occupied and front desk asked they said we would just need to wait for a toilet otherwise fine availability on other days. Front desk service was mixed. I suggest a water dispenser for guests as the vibe seemed to go between hostel/hotel with some shared services and some priced things which seemed illfitting.

It’s a hostel not a hotel, bring everything you need with you because they don’t provide any toiletries in the shared washrooms. Only thing provided was a towel.

Great location, incredibly central, however there are loud trucks that pass by on certain days super early in the morning. Bathroom could use some shelves for toiletries. Water splashed basically everywhere all the time while showering. The room we got was a surprise in how small it was, but for two people it worked ok! Can’t beat the location and how close it is to the palace, cathedral, museum island, and shopping areas. We walked everywhere!
