We love staying at the Refuge Inn.

This trip was amazing. We took my granddaughter here four years ago at the Refuge Inn when she was six years old and we loved it so much we wanted to take the rest of the family here when her brothers got older. The horses at the hotel were a huge hit. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was delivered to the room every morning and was delicious. It was a simple breakfast of bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant, but everybody enjoyed it plus you had yogurt, juices, fruit, and muffins so there was a little bit for everybody. The rooms were clean and neat. And the pool was heated and clean.We would definitely pick the Refuge Inn if we come back again. It’s a very family friendly place.

The Refuge Inn staff made me feel right at home. Easy check in, regardless we were early and we had a room in the first floor which was wonderful since we had access to the mini forest/patio area perfect for my two kids, 2 and 7. The yard also had access to the pool which was beautiful covered in plants and half outdoor/indoor. the hot tub did have a little too much chemical but it was clean. For every day we stayed breakfast was included. I would def stay here again.

Lovely stay at this Inn

Very happy with this out of the way inn with clean rooms, free breakfast, a beautiful pool basically in an atrium and a coffee bar. What more to ask for.

Pricey for what you get

Convenient to Assateague and bike rental, efficient check in/out, nice pool, outdoor patio. Pillows were WAY too thick, and free breakfast was worth skipping.

This was our second time staying at this hotel and it was another wonderful visit. Next door is a bike rental shop and you can also visit with Chincoteague ponies that live beside the hotel as well.

The property was located in the perfect location on the island! The property was right next to horses which was such a unique experience. The lookout on the top was a beautiful place to eat the delicious breakfast! Such a wonderful stay! I cannot wait to visit again soon!
