Accommodation in Stöðvarfjörður is are pretty tricky to find. However, you can choose from 2 comfy digs within 30 kilometres of Stöðvarfjörður's centre. Just think of the drive as a little extra sightseeing!

Fosshotel Eastfjords and Hotel Bjarg are some great choices! They're about as close to Stöðvarfjörður as you can get.

Lovely little cabin, had a microwave and mini-fridge which seemed to be rare in hotels in Iceland (from our experience). We could see the northern lights right from our window.
