Searching for a hotel in Stratená? Unfortunately, they're as in short supply as the hair on your great uncle Shane's head. But you'll have plenty of choice if you set your sights a bit further out. Pick from 41 accommodation options within a 30-kilometre radius of Stratená's main area.

Although it's a bit of a journey, you should have a squiz at the Mountain View Hotel and the Hotel AquaCity Seasons. Alternatively, stop by the Palace Tivoli and the Tatras.

You might also like to stay at the Tatragolf Mountain Resort, which is located 30 kilometres away. Or perhaps the Boutique Hotel Fortuna, just a distance of 20 kilometres from Stratená. More options include the Stela Hotel, 25 kilometres away, and the Hotel Cingov, 14 kilometres away.

Gánovce is another place where you can sit back and order up room service like a boss. Sitting 19 kilometres north of Stratená, it's where you'll find the Tatra Gallery and Spišská Sobota. Villa Koliba and Gubalowka Market are a couple more attractions which are sure to offer up some envy-inducing photo ops. Pooped from the flight? Need somewhere half decent to kip but think 25 kilometres from Poprad - Tatry Airport to the centre of town is just a bit too far? Don't stress. The Apartmány Village is pretty close and has your name all over it!

Standard double room advertised as much bigger, see photos e.g. with armchair and desk space. In reality, there is no armchair and desk available, apart from of the TV's, so the room is definitely smaller, e.g. the one you see under twin bed room. Some of the spaces will need some improvement in the next few years, but still a 4/5. Apart from this, I am very satisfied, clean, silent, and well equipped spaces, great kitchen ( food quality), the Wellness suit is AMAZING. And the Staff is brilliant, caring and helpful. The location of the hotel is totally perfect, 2-3mins to the train and bus stations, the food store and literally on the way to the cable cars/ ski lifts from the station. I also recommend the Tourism Centre (Tourinform) in front of the hotel and the Norwegian sports equipment store next to the hotel. The stay left me with memories I will cherish for a lifetime and thanks for the Aplend's Staff for this.
