These three cabins sit right on Green Bay at Little Harbor. The view is amazing. Our labrador retriever had plenty of time swimming. There isn't a beach, but it is possible to walk down some smaller rocks to the water (bring your water shoes!) The bay is shallow and most of the tijme calmer than the surrounding water. The dock is not sturdy enough for boats. We stayed at Starboard Cottage. It's a vintage cabin, with a small kitchen and microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, stove, refrigerator, counter with two stools, dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. The living room has been renovated and has a sofa and two chairs, tv and fireplace. The bedrooms have one full-sized bed and one dresser each, with a rack to hang clothes. The bathroom has a shower and plenty of nice towels and supplies. The cottage was clean and comfortable.
There are four adirondack chairs outside, a table and chairs with umbrella, a fire ring and a charcoal grill. We enjoyed sunsets, campfires, star-gazing, and watching the boats and pelicans. We even saw a mink running around on the rocks.
The cabin is right on Bay Shore Drive, but sheltered from the road by trees and in a quiet area. It's a bit of a drive (or a nice bike ride) into town, but we liked it that way. There is access to hiking up the bluff nearby. Route 42 is a short drive away.
We had an amazing vacation here, and we'll be back!
