Stayed here while my husband had work, room was average size, and a little dated. The bed sits very close to the wall on one side so theres no night stand if you need to have a cpap macine or even the convenience of having your device on the night stand charging. For most, it wouldn't be a big deal, but the toilet sits extremely low, so people with mobility issues, will have problems getting up. I was surprised to see that the room has a small kcup coffee machine, however, bring your own soap and shampoo, because this hotel only offers the tiny hotel soaps and one shampoo. The windows desperately need a cleaning both inside and out, it's a good thing there isn't much of a view because you wouldn't be able to see it anyway. Perkins is attached to the hotel, but dont recommend eating there, food isnt very good and staff isnt friendly. Science North is within walking distance however.

The check in was good but when we turned down the beds there was cat or dog hair on the sheets .. they weren’t changed on the one bed . Bed spread had hair on it too when we looked at it. Bathtub has a slant on in so makes it really hard to stand properly also if you have any issues with your legs the tub getting out of it wasn’t very accommodating

The Travelodge is average at best. It was clean, however, pieces of furniture were broken in our room, paint was peeling on the ceiling in the bathroom. Only one desk clerk was available, beginning early in the evening, and was absent many times, leaving guests waiting for several minutes.

Usually enjoy my stay but this time around i was here for surgery and in case i needed to go to the hospital. Most staff were wonderful but one or two were just extremely rude and even lied about me. I was afraid to even call the ambulance when it was needed and i almost died.

The hotel is adequate for an overnight stay. The staff do their jobs, but are not super friendly. Apparently , the bed we had was not on its frame and my husband hit his foot off a part that was sticking out, cutting it quite badly ! As he was trying to put it back on its frame, he noticed piles of dirt on the floor by the headboard. The carpet was stained and smelled. I think the hotel needs freshening up and more careful cleaning.

Clean and quiet convenient location to Science North and the hospital. Next to no service including room service to clean and apart from a very thin (3mm bar of soap and 5 ml shampoo , don’t count on any other conveniences. Front desk said the room is cleaned only after the second day of stay whoch means if you are there for two nights your garbage stays and towels not changed. Front desk staff, while not rude, are not welcoming or eager to assist. In fact, when asked for the hotel statement at the end of pur stay, they refused to provide it because they said the suite was booked through a travel agency. I had to insist on a statement to ensure no incidental changes where “accidentally” booked to our room and our bill was clear. First time in our many decades of travel that a hotel refused to send or give us a statement. With limited options in Sudbury with this convenient location, it will do but temper your expectations.
