From Sumber, travel 160 kilometres north to reach the exciting city of Klagenfurt am Woerthersee.

While away a day taking in ocean views at Zrce Beach or Punta Verudela Beach.

Mother Nature's splendour is on show in multiple places around Sumber. Just 35 kilometres away, Brijuni National Park is a superb place to begin. Katarina Island sits 35 kilometres away and is another pleasant spot for a bit of downtime.

If your getaway coincides with a few good centimetres of snow, you'll see many skiers and snowboarders packing up their cars for some icy action at Platak Ski Resort.

If you're thinking about venturing further afield, journey 3 kilometres south to Sveta Nedelja. It's here you'll find Rabac Beach and the Rabac Ferry Port. We also suggest trying out Gracisce, 8 kilometres to the west, for Festinsko kraljevstvo Cave and Višnjan Observatory.
