Was under construction/painting. Room small felt like prison cell, only window was facing public central walkway to lobby so no privacy if shade opened. Staff apparently not happy and it showed. Plus side located near Murphy Street restaurants and walking distance to park and movie theater. Limited parking due to lot is shared with local businesses, one of which is a popular bar. Need to find a parking spot early, before happy hour.

My room was a little smaller than expected with no windows which kind of makes me claustrophobic but it was cozy and clean. Wash clothes had holes from overwashing I guess and just got bigger with use so stopped using it. Didnt like so much that there was no free food like other hotels I have been at, not even free bagels or pastries or bread to toast with butter at least. You could order but pricey I could have bought more outside which is what I did next morning. Not only that they did not have a microwave or refrigebut n mm ĺrator. I have to make sure to check for these before booking. Staff at check in was very nice and helped. I booked a third night only to be charged an extra deposit totalling $300 for 3 nights. Sooo disappointing. Staff at check in was very nice and took care of me though did not let me know about the hold. Overall stay could have been better if amenities were free but oh well. Live and learn.

We were given the first room right from the front desk where all the traffic passes by , there was so much noise, we asked if we could get another room and the gentleman straight just said “NO we’re sold out” which was really disappointing because they didn’t seem like they wanted to do anything about it.
