Check in was good, lovely staff. Enjoyed my complimentary drink, ordered dinner for room service. However I had to go back to the bar after an hour of waiting as I had not received it. Sort of received an apology, they remade my meal, gave me a refund with a complimentary drink. Thank you
The service here was 5 star, we asked for a late check-out and a microwave and all was no trouble and prompt communication. The bathroom looked newly renovated and the beds were comfortable.
Was very impressed with the room service ,order meals from the room and it gets cooked at the pub then delivered to the room the food was great .The room was very clean service was great ,highly recommend.
Property is quaint, rooms clean and to be expected for the style of property.
Food at the restaurant was sub par and not worth the visit. I'm guessing by the reactions from front of house, they are well aware of the issues within the kitchen, though are powerless to change it.

I arrived and waited 5min for an attendant to be at reception to check me in. I had a work meeting, so I left and held the meeting from my car instead of the room. When I returned to reception after the meeting concluded, I waited 12min before someone welcomed me at reception. (I know as I received a phone call while waiting)
The room was clean, but had a smell to it. For the price I paid, it was not worth it.
The rooms haf been modernised and it was clean and had a new bathroom and a very comfortable Bed but the drive up to the property definitely needs improvement

Enjoyed the ambience and surroundings also liked how they leaned toward feeding the aged & those with pension cards with large discounts on meals.
Before arrival my card was overcharged. On check in there wasnt a manager on duty that could rectify this and as a result I was issued drink vouchers to the value of. The room was well presented but due to the age of the building it was noisy.
