It's situated close to some of Slovakia's most popular cities. Head 130 kilometres west to check out the action at Eisenstadt. Alternatively, take off west 130 kilometres to find Vienna.

If you're the type of traveller who loves becoming immersed in the vibe of the area you're visiting, DAC Stadium is one for your must-visit list. Check what live events are on during your trip and cheer along with enthusiastic local sports fans. You'll find the stadium 45 kilometres away in Dunajska Streda.

Whether you're hoping to polish your turns or simply make it back to the chairlift in one piece, Western Slovakia has the slopes for you. You can head to either Epleny Ski Arena or Nordica Síaréna.

Like the sound of Bernolakov Park and the Trinity Statue? These fantastic attractions are in Palarikovo, just 9 kilometres southwest of Surany. Or perhaps Nitra Castle and the Slovak Agricultural Open-Air Museum are more up your alley? To see them, head to Cabaj, 20 kilometres to the northwest.
