We were here for just a few days. Cute house with amazing deck and views. The property had LOTS to do. My boys enjoyed kayaking and axe throwing. There is a grocery store close by and the house was well stocked. The location was exactly what we wanted. We went up to Denali and also visited other areas. The property managers responded quickly to our messages. We would recommend this location!

Great place!

My family absolutely loved our stay at Talkeetna Wilderness Lodge. We were warmly welcomed to a beautiful cabin that even had our name on it! The bed was incredibly cozy, the kitchen was fully equipped for preparing delicious meals, and the bathroom was spotless with a great shower and high-quality shampoo. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly too. This was truly the highlight of our Alaska trip, and we can’t wait to return to this amazing place. Thank you for making our trip wonderful and memorable!

Dawn and James have created a dreamy cabin escape on Talkeetna. Every possible traveler’s need was accounted for. Dawn has worked in hospitality for 20+ years and is an extraordinary host. Her breakfasts are fantastic too. And the view of Denali from their deck is breathtaking.

Well maintained property in the woods. Very responsive host. We have 2 teens, so they were in the 2 basement bedrooms with a bathroom and we stayed in the main floor. House had everything we needed. We would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The cabin is in a quiet area surrounded by woods…very relaxing. It’s an easy drive into Talkeetna, but away from the busy summer scene. The cabin is updated, clean and very comfortable. I would note that the stairs to the loft are quite steep and the bed in the loft is an air mattress, but this was no problem for us. We had a great stay.
