The beautiful Villa Carolina is newly built and is located on a small hill in a traditional village with stone buildings surrounded by olive groves near Porec. By Hill one has a magnificent view of the valley and the sea.

The villa has 5 bedrooms, 4 ensuite bathrooms, dining room, large living room and from most rooms overlooking the sea.
In the 1000 sqm large plot is a private swimming pool 60sqm, a sun terrace incl. Sun loungers, outdoor dining area for 10 people and a brick barbecue grill. A lounge chair and an additional terrace is on the upper floor available.

This property is just a short drive away from the beaches in Porec and all that Istria has to offer: Crystal clear sea, secluded coves, picturesque ports and romantic mountain villages, and fine wines, and perhaps the best olive oil in the world.
Man is carried away by the Croatian peninsula immediately. located idyllic harbor town lined along the coast with Venetian architecture, in between, there are numerous bays, peninsulas and islands and the hinterland is waiting with endless olive groves, striking mountain villages and picturesque wineries on.

Great stay at this villa. The place is fairly new with all comforts needed. Some few annoyances were TV that did not have too many satellite channels which means we watched our soccer matches on a lap top, wifi is week and drier is not working well. Besides these minor issues we had a great time.

Lovely property overall with some small but irritating issues. Sea views - very distant, need binoculars therefore a bit misleading. A number of door handles kept falling off. Water leaked from shower into main bathroom area in downstairs bedroom overlooking pool. TV remote control broken. The Idala restaurant mentioned in directions closed over 2 years ago and is misleading therefore. A better welcome pack with advice about shops/restaurants etc would have been welcome.

Gorgeous place, terrific communication
This house worked really well for our group of two families. The layout with four king en-suite rooms fit nicely, and the pool and living area were welcoming and attractive. The kitchen had plenty of plates and utensils, and included two fridges. The friendly property managers were very responsive and gave excellent restaurant recommendations! We loved our visit to Croatia and felt we’d found a terrific home base from which to explore!

Lovely villa and swimming pool.
Peaceful location, easy access from the airport. The pool was ideal for our grandchildren as it was easy to supervise and relax at the same time. Air conditioning was great as the weather was very hot. Lovely views of the sun setting. Super to have en suite washing with the double bedrooms. Thoroughly recommend.

The Villa Carolina was an amazing accommodation for our Vacation! Everything was perfect and we had a wonderful time! All rooms are comfortable and cosy and the bathrooms are really modern! The two house manager Marina and Edin were super friendly and gave us cookies and snacks, thank you! We would definitely recommend this accommodation for everyone!

An oasis of calm - in a lovely home
We have just returned from a lovely week in Croatia staying at Villa Carolina. There were many positives of our stay and we would highly recommend this villa for groups or families or 9 or less. We were a group of 9 and found the villa well kitted out and with plenty of space. It is a little off the beaten track but quite accessible. It is well furnished and has most of what you need or want. The housekeepers were responsive (especially when the water went off on our last night - confirming this was a local issue in the area and not just the villa). The only downsides were the lack of curtains in most of the bedrooms (it was very light in the morning), no air con in the smallest single room. A bit of an ant problem in the main living space that had to be constantly dealt with and the hot water tank wasn't huge with such a large group. However the positives made up for these issues and we all had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed the villa and local area. We ate at the Idila restaurant which had rustic charm and the San Lorenzo pizzeria (quite local but needs booking as very popular). There is no microwave but we managed to cook without. There is so much to see locally and this is a great base to work from. Highly recommended!

Tolles Ferienhaus in absolut ruhiger Lage, ca. 15 km vom Meer entfernt; das Haus entspricht absolut der Beschreibung im Internet. Großzügiger Wohnbereich, grosse Schlafzimmer mit bequemen Betten; schöne Küche mit toller Kaffeemaschine; sehr schöner Pool, große Terrasse mit ausreichenden Liegen und Sonnenschirmen. Sowohl wir Erwachsene als auch die Kinder haben den Urlaub sehr genossen. Eine uneingeschränkte Weiterempfehlung

Ein schöner Aufenthalt mit Abzügen in der "B-Note"
Das Haus war sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was neun Personen so benötigen. Wir haben es sehr genossen! Dennoch gibt es einige Punkte, die uns negativ aufgefallen sind und die ich auch gerne benennen möchte: - Bei den fünf Schlafzimmern ist ein Einzelzimmer dabei, das nicht über eine Klimatisierung verfügt. Ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass dies im Angebot auch explizit benannt wird. - Das WLAN ist wirklich sehr schwach auf der Brust und damit (draußen) nur eingeschränkt nutzbar. - Die Beschattung des Esstisches draußen könnte deutlich verbessert werden. Die zwei kleinen Sonnenschirme müssen permanent umgesetzt werden, um den Tisch zu beschatten. Hier wäre ein festes Sonnensegel, oder aber eine Überdachung deutlich praktischer und würde ggf. auch eine bessere Abtrennung zum Nachbargrundstück bringen, wenn es dort mal hoch hergeht. Für die lauten Nachbarn selbst kann der Vermieter natürlich nichts. :-)

Perfekte Villa mit Hund
Locker und Ruhige Lage. .Genügend Platz. leider ist das Restaurant vor Ort Geschlossen. Für die Einkäufe brauchts ein Auto ca.8 Km zum nächsten Ortsladen. Für Gute Infos vom Hausmeister, waren wir dankbar.

Uns hat es gut gefallen. Reinigung vom Pool hat noch Luft nach oben. Es sollten bei einem Haus für 8 Personen auch für jeden einen Liegestuhl geben- nicht nur 4. Das Haus war gemütlich und sauber und das Personal vor Ort sehr hilfsbereit.

Entspannungsoase mit kleinen Abstrichen
**Positiv:** Das Haus bietet eine ideale Umgebung zum Entspannen. Es verfügt über einen schönen Pool und liegt in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Ein großer Fernseher lädt zu gemütlichen Abenden ein, und die gut durchdachte Aufteilung sorgt für ein angenehmes Wohngefühl. Die Außenanlagen sind sehr gepflegt und bieten mit dem Grill die perfekte Möglichkeit für entspannte Grillabende. **Neutral:** Das Haus liegt etwas abgelegen. Der nächste größere Lebensmittelladen ist in etwa 25 Minuten zu erreichen. Nach Porec sind es rund 20 Minuten und nach Rovinj etwa 30 Minuten. **Negativ:** Es gibt keine Mikrowelle und das W-LAN ist langsam. Es fehlen Außensteckdosen und Verlängerungskabel. In manchen Räumen gibt es keine Möglichkeit zur Abdunkelung, und die Matratzen sind durchgelegen.

Die Villa war alles in allem schön und wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Jedoch ist das Haus für die maximale Belegung von 9 Personen nicht optimal. Das Einzelzimmer ist sehr klein und ohne Klimaanlage. Die Ausstattung der Küche lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig: der sogenannte Kaffeevollautomat funktioniert nicht, die Pfannen und Küchenmesser waren unbrauchbar (Belag total zerkratzt, Messer abgebrochen und stumpf) Der Hausbetreuer hat diese nach unserem Anruf ersetzt. Für 9 Gäste gibt es zu wenig Trinkgläser, Schüsseln, etc. Die Abflüsse in den Bädern waren verstopft und das Wasser lief kaum ab. Auch der Warmwasserboiler reichte nie für Alle. Die Duschtücher haben extrem nach kaltem Zigarettenrauch gestunken und wir mussten sie selber waschen. Die Matratzen sind durchgelegen und müssten mal ersetzt werden. Internet/WLAN ist eine Katastrophe: extrem langsam oder nicht verfügbar. Der Aussenbereich ist schön gestaltet und der Pool ist toll, jedoch gibt es nur 3 Sonnenschirme wovon 1 gerissen war. Ein gedeckter Essbereich wäre toll 😉 Der Grill ist zu klein und hat keine Luftzufuhr, zudem gibt es nur einen Rost der leider nicht verstellbar ist. Es gab auch keine Grillkohle bzw. Anzündmaterial. Der Hausbetreuer kam am sonnigsten Tag um den Pool zu reinigen und wir konnten ihn 3,5 Stunden nicht benutzen. Wir hatten den Betreuer auch auf den Frühstücksservice angesprochen aber sie sagten das werde nicht angeboten.

Sehr zufrieden!
Unsere kleine Gruppe umfasste 5 Erwachsene (Oma/Opa/Kinder+Partner) und 3 Kinder (0,2,4Jahre) Wir waren eine Woche im Haus und super zufrieden! Die Buchung, die Kommunikation mit der Eigentümerin vorab und der Check-in/out mit den Hausbetreuern war super und problemlos! Das Haus ist wunderschön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hat absolut unseren Erwartungen entsprochen (was allerdings in dieser Preiskategorie meistens der Fall ist) Wir waren wirklich sehr happy mit der Lage und den wunderschönen Sonnenuntergängen auf der Terrasse! Für uns persönlich hätte der Pool ein bisschen öfter gesaugt gehört, was allerdings natürlich auch bei 3 Kindern sicherlich eine andere Situation ist als mit Erwachsenen. Für Urlaub mit Kindern aber auch ohne ein absolut empfehlenswertes Haus!

Tolles Haus , etwas abseits gelegen
Das Haus und seine Ausstattung sind super . Sehr zu empfehlen . 2ter Kühlschrank für Getränke wurde angeschafft , Verdunklung an den Fenstern bis auf 1 Zimmer möglich . Warmwasser für 9 und gleichzeitig duschen aber nicht ausreichend. Haben eben in Etappen geduscht , das ging auch . Fliegengitter wären toll , die gibt es leider noch nicht . Lage ist mitten im nirgendwo. Kein Restaurant mehr in der Nähe auch kein Bäcker oder sowas , man braucht immer das Auto . Porec ist aber sehr schnell zu erreichen . Im Hinterland hatten tolle Agro Tourist Farmen mit leckeren Restaurants. Die Hauskeeper helfen gerne mit tips weiter . Wir würden wieder buchen !

Das Haus war genau wie beschrieben, sehr schön, einzig der Kühlschrank ist für 9 Personen dann doch etwas Zu klein. Sehr schöner Pool, einzigartige Sonnenuntergänge. Dass die Coronasituation mitgereist ist, ist ja nicht Schuld des Vermieters, nur die Pizzeria um die Ecke, die so toll bewertet war, und auf die wir uns gefreut hatten, hat leider dauerhaft geschlossen und , so sagten uns Nachbarn vor Ort, wird wohl auch nicht mehr öffnen aufgrund Coronainsolvenz.

Relaxing family vacation
Our family had a great time at this house! The owner always responded to our communications quickly and professionally. The house is as in the pictures - very nice and clean. The garden and pool are great and we spent many hours enjoying the sun and sunsets. The location is within driving distance to the main attractions in Istria. We would definitely recommend this property!
