The pre registration was over the top for information. They require lots of private information on line for their pre registration process. In all the years I’ve been travelling no other property has ever been so intrusive. Not sure if it’s a corporate policy or the franchisee policy. Not recommended for the above.

Good enough for a stop over
Just needed a place to stay for the night and this did the trick. Soft beds and it was a quiet Thursday night. Breakfast packs had juice paks, granola bars, apple strudel, muffin, packaged boiled eggs. There was cheese and nut packs, yogurt, coffee, apples. Our two bed room was quite spacious. No big complaints

We arrived very late. The gentlemen who checked us in was quite accommodating. We were initially on the second floor and without an elevator would have made it difficult for us. He changed our room for us. The free Breakfast was a goodie bag…. Pastry, muffin, granola bars, yogurt, cheese and nuts/fruit and Oatmeal if you wanted it. The location was easy to find. Good for an evening.

I felt the gentleman who checked me in and out, Made me feel stupid, and wouldn’t take my debit card asking if I had money to cover it and insisted on cash for incidentals which never in my traveling have they ever not used my card! And left me with almost no money for food. Then when checking out he saw me waiting and he intentionally took 10 minutes longer to finish his conversation with the other employee and when he went to check me out he wouldn’t give me my money back until he personally went to the room and checked it out! I don’t know why he treated me like that but it didn’t make me feel good nor do I want to ever stay at that hotel again! And I travel to Bangor often! I just feel so singled out and treated very poorly by this staff member! I don’t know why my first review was declined, don’t you want the truth about these places?

Good budget hotel
I had a one day business trip and was looking for a budget hotel. The place is clean, a bit older. Room was good sized but bathroom was cramped. Breakfast was a continental bag that you take to your room. It was ok with oatmeal, boiled eggs and granola bars and apples. Overall a reasonable choice. I would stay here again.

Somewhat dated property but okay for a night’s rest. I didn’t try the heat/cool system but it’s the typical window mounted box. “Breakfast” is a grab bag of packaged snacks - nice gesture but just don’t expect more. Convenient location right off the interstate with lots of parking. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Front desk staff were nice.

Super 8 in Bangor did well for what it was offering - a comfortable and inexpensive place to sleep and refresh. Plenty of hot water for showers. Rooms refreshed daily. Breakfast was grab and go - coffee wasn't very good. Beds comfy and rooms quiet. Rooms could benefit from a deep cleaning like the walboards and corners need a good scrubbing. Overall would recommend for stay if passing through Bangor.

You get what you pay for
You get what you pay for. During booking I don’t recall mention of no elevator although I did see it mentioned during online check in. Place seemed a bit run down. Bathroom was extremely small. Front desk staff was very friendly. Online reviews are why I chose this place and very surprised by the great reviews TBH. Place was fine. I was traveling alone and have to admit I didn’t feel the safest.

Older motel on the outskirts of Bangor but close to I95 so convenient for travelling through. Room was very clean, only stayed 1 night so served the purpose. Go bags with snacks provided on checkout was nice touch.
