The Space:
This classic Sydney mid-century home has been refurbished in period correct style with all brand new modern appliances and luxuries. This home is in the heart of Arncliffe village, being less than 100 metres from two grocers, hot food, Lebanese bakeries, pastries with ice cream, a lovely dog-friendly family park with football field, local RSL (a classic Aussie RSL - without pokies or late openings) and many other local amenities. Despite the vibrancy of the local area, Casa Martin has been provided with brand new double-glazing throughout and black-out blinds in living areas to ensure peace and quiet once the front door is closed.
Casa Martin is only a 9-minute walk to Arncliffe train station, which is on the south-coast illawarra line (14 minutes to Redfern, 15 minutes to Central Station), with the Arncliffe station area hosting pharmacies, a local library, IGA grocers, and indonesian, vietnamese and lebanese cuisine (to name a few). Alternatively you are only a 19-minute walk to the Wolli Creek village, with Aldi, Woolworths, Dan Murphys and a whole range of excellent restaurants.
if you're driving, it's only a quick trip to Princes Highway, with a total 10-minute drive time to Newtown and 15 minutes to the Sydney CBD, or if you're jumping on a plane, only 10 minutes drive to Sydney Airport. Off-street Parking is provided if required (please ask for details), with parking on the block never being an issue if a second car is needed.
Each bedroom is furnished with queen bed and mattresses, lighting and amenities for each side of each bed, with ample storage for clothes, luggage and other comforts to help you settle in comfortably.
The living room and dining room flow seamlessly, with sliding doors between the two to allow the grown-ups some quiet time at the lounge (and behind the cocktail bar) while the kids enjoy the double-size lounge in front of the TV and bluetooth-compatible speaker.
The open-plan bathroom includes spacious mirror cabinet for all of those personal toiletries, as well as a bath to relax in after a long day enjoying the local area.
Additionally, there is a second classic australian mixed-use laundry, bathroom and shower which is accessed through the backyard to help with shower-time peak hour.
The rear yard provides sheltered and open outdoors entertaining, with 6-person dining table and chairs, BBQ facility and many native shrubs and flowers.
The front patio is the perfect spot for a morning coffee whilst watching the world go by, nestled in behind a row of native Banksias and Callistemons.
