Elegant studio apartment in the ancient neighbourhood of Graziella, inside a redeveloped courtyard in Ortigia, Syracuse.
This simply yet elegantly furnished studio apartment, located on the ground floor, opens to a living room with a double sofa bed, a TV and a dining table. From here there is access to a well-equipped kitchen, fitted also with a microwave. On the same floor there is a full bathroom with shower. From the living room, through a metal staircase, guests will reach a mezzanine with a queen size bed and a wardrobe. In front of the entrance to the apartment, there is a furnished space with a sunshade, chairs and a table. Outdoors, there is also a private laundry room with a washing machine. At guests’ disposal there is air conditioning and heating.

Leaving the ancient Greek city and going toward the south, the best equipped beaches worth of a visit are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella and Fontane Bianche, whose name is due to the natural sweet spring water and to the unique white sand. Then, In the island of Ortigia there are some equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno), as well as the free beach of Cala Rossa. Going further south, about 30 kms far away from Siracusa, there are amazing and wild beaches: Calamosche, Vendicari with its Wildlife Park and the precious San Lorenzo. For those looking for cultural and historical sites, it is recommended to visit Teatro Greco and its archeological site with the famous Orecchio di Dionisio (a limestone cave shaped as a human ear), the Museum Paolo Orsi, then the Latomie dei Cappuccini, and finally the island of Ortigia with its natural and historic eye-catching landscapes. The airport of Catania Fontanarossa is about 70 kms far away, while Comiso “Pio La Torre” airport is 90 kms far. The train station of Syracuse is 15 minutes walking distance from Ortigia, as well as the interbus station connected with the airports.
