Great staff and restaurant. Across from shopping mall. Room was VERY cold even when set to 27.5C. Adequate room but need to ask for towels.

Ceiling ac leaked and woke up to water. Reception ac units causing water their as well. Another couple has the same issues and was very upset. I would wait until they get this taken care of as it's been happening for a while.

Excellent property, my only suggestion, pls clean the shower tile , and chairs that has fabric,, needs cleaning, but over all, the hotel was beautiful, excellent staff, excellent food, thank you

The hotel is easily accessible to the Robinson mall, but the breakfast is not free, you have to pay for it. Food choices are average. We stayed in the hotel several times and everytime during our stay, towels, hand towels, floor towels and toilet paper are not easily available , we always have to call the housekeeping department which is inconvenient. I wish they are available right away because those are basic necessities when you stay in a hotel. But I love the reusable slippers and dental care kit as their room amenities. In general, we love our stay in Summit hotel.

The staff is extremely nice. That saved him from being a one star. Let me start with the pros. 1. The staff was extremely nice. 2. The breakfast wasn't that bad actually. 3. It's very close to the mall. 4. They do have nice amenities such as toothbrush shaped kit, things of that nature. The cons: 1. They probably need to do a little bit better cleaning. For example, at the side tables of the bed had stains from drinks. 2. Overall the hotel was not that clean to include the room. Example of this go in the lobby and look up at the ceiling. 3. They have parking but it was extremely hard to get one that was available. 4. Taking a shower there is like playing Russian roulette. The water will be extremely cold then 2 seconds later. Extremely hot and back to ice cold. Also the water pressure seems to be bipolar. 5. The room we have specifically did not have an iron though others do. I would rate it as in motel 6 in the USA.

Summit is the place to stay in Tacloban. It is conveniently located by the best mall in town. There are plenty places to eat and see. There is also a pool. It could use a gym. The staff are kind and helpful. No laundry services, you have to go across the street to a laundry place.
