The lobby is stunning, with lots of artwork. In fact, when you enter the lobby, it feels like a 4-star hotel or higher (Expedia rated it 4.5 stars). However, once you enter the rooms, it feels more like a 3-star hotel. The rooms are old and not well-maintained. There was a lot of noise, and our bedroom was next to the elevator. However, they did change our room. There were no bottled water in the room, just tap water.

This is not my first time at the Murano. But I was disappointed this time. The turn over of our room seemed to be done too quickly and with little attention to detail. The sheets were clean but stained. No liners in the trash cans, there was trash under the bed and Other furniture in the room, the table/desk was sticky and the window was filthy (on the inside)… our room seemed more dated than others I’ve stayed in on this same property. Usually this is my GO-TO hotel in Tacoma, but I think I’ll shop around next time.

It's a hotel trying to be fancy with glass artwork all over the place. This hotel is showing some wear. Carpet on the stairs is worn, elevator has damage to interior glass artwork, missing handrail on another elevator. They don't have secure parking, you have to stairs when the lower lot is full. They charge for parking depending on your reservation. The room I had was nice, except I next to the elevator and I could hear it in the morning. This hotel doesn't have a pool. The bar was nice , I got a complimentary drink from the hotel.
