The staff at reception are professional and courteous. I liked my room had two double beds in separated spaces, almost like interconnected rooms, only there was no door to separate them and there was one bathroom. The hotel is located next to the main train station and bus station, very convenient. In general the hotel needs a good renovation to bring it to its former glory.

The building is quite an aged but for sure internal has been renovated and looks great. Friendly staffs and warmly services. Great location just next to the Taipei Main Station. Stately, dated and clean well located hotel. Very small room. Across the street from the central station. No room to really sit in the lobby. I'm glad we did not pay extra for the breakfast buffet. All in all a very good stay.

Bad experience.
The walls were super thin and we could hear the people on the other side easily. Even the shower and restroom sounds could be heard. The whole hotel has some old moldy smell. Also, they will charge you extra if you lose your room key. The staff was nice, but we will never stay at this hotel again
