Great ambience but not necessarily for everyone. This is a beautifully designed facility. Some of the rooms may not be suitable for everyone. We booked rooms with King sized bed that is supposedly made up of 2 single beds, as we are hoping to be able to separate the beds to give each other space. However, when we got to our room, the bed appears to be just one single full sized bed. I don't know if this is just a matter of different country having different system for bed sizes. The design vibe is dark and dramatic. What's interesting is that when you first walk in you are greeted with a huge bathtub. It's open concept and the bathtub only has a curtain to give you privacy with no door to the bathroom area. The problem is that when someone opens the front door, the force can blow the curtain open. At one point I was in the shower, a staff delivered items to the room and while my companion was talking to them at the door I had to awkwardly hold on to the curtain in case any air moves the curtain apart. Not having a door to the bathroom also means that one cannot change clothes in private. I think these kind of rooms are great for couples but wish this was more clear in the description. The bathtub is very deep, very enjoyable for soaking, but this is a bit precarious for some in our group. The staff were able to find us rooms with different designs (but still smaller beds than King) that helped with the accessibility for the bathroom.
