Great hotel for Children and Adults.
Lovely resort well thought out for children and adults. Separate pool for adults and breakfast also separate for the adults. Lots of very friendly staff. Lifeguards at all the children's pools safety was paramount. Washing facilities available for clothes however one machine out of 3 was out of order so often a queue to get washing done. Food very good although same offering every day. Buffet breakfast excellent.

Great kid friendly option in Khao Lak
If you have kids this is a great option! The mini waterpark was great fun. The beach front is also nice and there are loads of sunbeds as well as three pools. Super kid friendly and our teen two-bedroom suite with bunk beds for the kids was perfect.

Our children are 9 and 12 and felt like this catered more towards younger families as a lot of babies around and most activities were aimed to younger children. Everything was as sold, nice room and accommodation but maybe lacked a bit of personality and catered more towards volume

If you have a family and want a hotel that suits everyone a stay at The Sands is a must! Our kids, 10 and 13yrs had an absolute ball. The hotel food options were great, even catered for gluten free and if we wanted something local we were close to so many restaurants. We are definitely coming back next year. Love the place.

Many areas for all to enjoy. Rooms very comfortable. Even asked to by mattress topper as it was so comfortable. Some areas need maintenance such as Aqua Zone with rust and sharp edges. Timber rotting around pool access rooms and plenty of ant's. Overall will def come back. Easy walk to shops, markets and restaurants. And cheaper than Patong region. 6 times to Thailand and Khao Lak has been the best. And Sands best resort so far
