We stayed at the hotel for four nights. It was great, until the last evening, that was when the waiters, in the dining room, told us we could not served in the restaurant. When I complained to the front desk, they talked to the waiters and then we were invited to dine. However, no one had informed us that the price for dinner would be $100 apiece and that all the other restaurants in town would be closed for the New Years Eve celebration. We were not offered a regular dinner, dinner in our room. This was a surprise because in the three prior days, no-one told us about the unusual expense or the fact that all the restaurants in town would closed that night. To top our evening off, the noise from the party both from the rooftop, in the hallways, adjacent rooms. The beat of the music and loudness keep me awake most of the night. The party on the rooftop party was still going on at 3:30 AM in the morning.
There was never an offer from the Hotel to compensate us for the last night and what we endured!
