I was very disappointed after staying at Clarion Pointe in Tallahassee. Our room only had one bathroom, which wasn't a problem. One of my friends was using that bathroom and I had to use the bathroom so I went out to the one in the hallway. That bathroom was only for guests and even needed to be opened with the room key which I thought was great and safe. Some of the workers were in the hallway and even saw me go in there. Well, I used the bathroom and I was washing my hands I heard, "well make it quick" and the door was instantly opened on me. there was no knock at all. standing in front of me was one of the workers and a gentleman. The worker started laughing and the gentleman said, "thank god she wasn't on the toilet" The worker didn't apologize or say anything but instead just laughed. I was too shocked to respond or even go to the front desk. On my way back to the room, the workers in the hallway were laughing as well. This has got to be the worst experience I have ever had and I will make sure to tell everyone I know to not stay here.

It was fine. Room was small but adequate. They’re trying! Noisy”party” area at night, but not too bad. On the plus side, the beds are very clean and comfortable. Staff was very nice and helpful.

I make the trip to Tallahassee at least once every month and I regularly stay at this hotel for the weekend I'm there . Most of the staff I have encountered are very friendly and the room I get is always clean and well stocked. The beds are very comfortable and there is a refrigerator and microwave. I wish the rooms had a coffee pot in them as they don't have coffee available at the time I have to leave each morning for the day and there is rarely any available when I return in the afternoon. Other than that, I am always very satisfied with my stay here and I recommend this place to others as well.

On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and attentive. What I did not like was the $285 a night (plus fees and taxes) fee for an old, worn-down, mildewy smelling hotel. Staff probably works hard because it was as clean as it could be. This is a $140 a night hotel at most. To have to pay any more is not justified.
