Front desk and staff was great. The overall cleanliness was poor! Our bathroom was dirty and the elevator was gross! Carpets were stained and dirty in the hallways. Beds were great just like any Marriott! Good stay it just needs some good thorough cleaning

Your stay will include a $40/night parking fee unless you can find street parking which is very limited. The private lot across the street offers $25 “overnight” parking that ends at 2:00am so your first night of parking will be $65. The check-in staff hears about this all the time and is now indifferent about it. They were indifferent about everything. Nobody used the small bar (shocker) and while available in theory, food did not seem like it was an option or would be some prepared a la microwave instead of cooked. Even the 3 lounge area tvs were off which reinforced the “sshhh, quiet” vibe. Even the agua fresca urn was pulled on Sunday because who needs that? This stay was pro forma and offered nothing to entice one to explore Tampa so you were on your own. As a chain, this property struck you as a franchise unit that was really owned by a lean-and-mean PE firm who kept things nice but really had no soul because they were more concerned about their ROI.

Very disappointed with this property. The lamps by our bed didn’t work. We told the staff at the front desk about it and they said they were not able to reach maintenance. The shower stall was old and had mold in it. They say they are slowly renovating and if that’s so, guess should be put in those rooms that are renovated.

I requested a crib / pack and play, never received it. Asked front staff, they informed me that they didn’t have any more. Instead I had to move bed to the wall and in doing so, found so much trash underneath the bed that I ended up gagging. There was also pubic hair in the bathtub, on the floor in the bathroom, and there was fecal matter on the inside of the toilet and under the seat.

In general the stay was comfortable, Anitta was a very kind guest service representative, the room was clean and the location of the hotel was a Plus, the only thing I would suggest is the parking fee for overnight stay $40 kind of pricey when you stay more than 2 nights

The room smelled strongly of dog, or mold, couldn’t quite pinpoint it. Opened the window to air it out but the noise level outside was really high so had to shut it. The “Starbucks” on site is minimal and just plain bad, better to just walk the block or two to the standalone Starbucks on the corner. The beds were nice, the property is in a decent location could walk to several good spots. I doubt I’d stay here again though, all things considered.
