The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. The only issue I have is that while walking to my room it smelled like urine and very strong smell. Once I got my room one of the bed covers and sheets had red stains on it; also, the towels had dry red stains that looked like blood. The fridge wasn't working and the microwave buttons wasn't working neither. It was really noisy at night seem like tow trucks driving around the property not sure. Also, a guest was smoking substance right outside our room which cause the the smell to enter right into our a/c into our room and cause the whole room stink. Our last night stay, we got home at 2am, and our room key card wasn't working. The area is but stretchy. Overall, wouldn't stay here again only if it is a emergency and nothing else was available.

The location of this hotel is convenient for those looking to visit Busch Gardens, however I felt completely unsafe. The door couldn’t close all the way and the peephole was too dirty to recognize anyone outside. The room smelled like dirty water and our bed sheets were wet. We saw a tiny roach running across our floor. At 12 am, a stranger knocked on our door 3 times. In summary, location is convenient but not clean nor safe.

They over booked and didn’t have the room we booked. So we were forced to use a cot plus a king bed, instead of the two double beds we booked

Hurricane? No problem, no relief.
Storm knocked out power at 9PM -- so NO AC! Power restored at 5:55AM to a hot, humid, muggy, musty, moldy-smelling room -- very difficult to get a good night's sleep there! Asked the manager (female) for some reimbursement for the poor overnight with no AC, and she said "Nope." Enjoy your review, La Cheepo.

We refuge at La Quinta from the hurricane Helene, staff very friendly and cooperative. Rooms in the upper levels were fine, breakfast is average for this type of Hotels. We felt safe at this location. Thanks.

Very old dated room. Key did not work. Went back for new keys and they didn’t work either. Air conditioner dumped humidity into the room all night and woke up to wet floors and walls and everything else. Could not wait to get out of this room! And let’s not forget the German Cockroaches!

1st room looked like a crime scene. Door to room would not close. Bodily fluids on chair, iron cover was filthy.There were cockraoches in the room. 2nd room was clean, but dozens of cockroaches in the room when we woke up. It was very loud at night and was woken up several times by very load people.

My sister and I were evacuated from our homes due to storms. We got 2 separate rooms for 2 nights each. Within 4 hours we had no electricity, one of the rooms smelled like it was smoked in, roaches everywhere and definitely not what I expected from a La Quinta. We actually ended up leaving after one night there. I've always have had pleasant experiences with La Quinta but this made a stressful situation worse
