I went to the long to check in at 2 in the morning. Coming back from work very tired and sleepy. I meet with a guy from the Middle East or maybe Indian, not saying it to be racier but to describe my experience to the fullest. I have him the same debit cards I used to pay for the hotel to secure a deposit. The man went to tell me that the card doesn’t belong to me, even though my name is written on the card and I gave him my ID. He demanded to see a picture of my grandmother who customized my card graffiti with. After many back and forth of the idiot not letting me check in, I told him I’m starting to get pissed off. All of a sudden he said now I’m disrespecting him and that he’s offended. May I remind you all he’s checking Caucasian customers left and right while I’m standing here and he’s denying me entry to the hotel because he thinks I’m trying to check in with a stolen card. After an hr of standing there and waiting for the booking company to resolve the issue, he comes back and apologize. That was the worse experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. Well it was a motel to be fair but I don’t recommend that anyone who is of color to go there and be prejudged.

You can smell the pot smoke at check in. The first room I was given had a sliding glass door that didn’t fully close. Cockroaches in the tub and a broken towel rack. I didn’t feel safe and slept with the lights on.

The staff was amazing cleanliness was ok for an older hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel was not safe we had a person trying to get into the room at 2 am and then banging on the door. I called the front desk who took care of the situation. However, we couldn’t sleep After that. It was a one day stay!

A/C was great although it was a cold day. The cleanliness was to much. The room smelled of unbearable bleach. specially the sheets. The curved shower rod didn't allow for the shower curtain to close, which made a mess on the floor.

The room smelled horrible of bleach (not like an enjoyably clean smell) that made it tough to breathe. We opened a window but that was too noisy outside.

Not to thrilled with this one. Dining table installed at an angle that wont even keep a drink upright, bed was basically a matress with a two person sized hole in the middle. Doubt if i would ever choose this location again. Its convenient to the major roads in Brandon Fl, but thats really all it has going for it....

Got to the hotel and then our rooms water didnt even work, rooms a few doors down tried to fight with us for just walking by. Front desk locked doors at 9pm and while sitting in there dont even answer the calls. Will not be back.

The room smelled like mold when you walked in. The toilet had to manually be filled with water after each use. There were multiple roaches in the room. Right where the ac unit came out of the wall there was a massive crack and the wall was damp. The small little couch in the room was dirty. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. One of the beds had a side that literally laying on the bedframe. There were people arguing in the halls and riding skateboards up and down no matter the hour. The people at the front desk refused to fix or look at the toilet. They refused to transfer me to another room. Refused to give me my $100 deposit back until at the end of the stay. With the prices of hotels for the holidays I was forced to stay. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Honestly the place should shut down for a while and do a bunch of maintenance on the building. DO NOT STAY!!

Had to be move from our original room to a different room and it was worse than the first,called front dest it wasn't even an option for a different room, air conditioning didn't work people outside were loud called front desk and the girl said it wouldn't be a good idea to call the police. Never will stay at a motel 6 again.

I did not like the property at all! Lowsy service, staff cannot deal with the unexpected (for instance my door lock did not lock, and nobody did anything about it in a eeasonavle time frame - I finally gave up and checked out of the hotel). And I expecting for a refund for the sum I was charged - they said Expedia will make the refund back into my credit card! Hope so! Will never be at this property again!
