Brenda and Sue are the best . They took care of me and my friend and made us feel at home. Got stuck in Florida an extra day due to hurricane and Brenda took care of us at the last minute. Linda at breakfast was also great. Kept the area clean and moved people out so others can sit and eat .

The staff was amazing. We were there for a cruise that kept getting extended and eventually canceled. Staff was accommodating to the changes we had. Totally awesome. Also the drivers to and from the airport were great. Will be staying there again when we come back to Tampa

We stayed here during Hurricane Helene, the staff was wonderful! We were able to extend our stay 2 extra nights, change transportation times, everyone was so friendly and helpful. We saw lots of workers out taking care of the property every day we were here. There is a grocery store across the parking lot and some sit down dinning places in walking distance.

It’s old, but clean. Staff is friendly. Area is safe. Breakfast was better than I expected. Grocery stores, restaurants in walking distance. Very convenient for airport and cruise port.

We checked out of the hotel because we were going on a cruise and then we got an email saying our cruise was delayed until the following day. We went back to see if they could accommodate us, but they could not, but they were able to find us other accommodations within 15 minutes. The location of this hotel was wonderful and if we cruise out of Tampa again, this is the place we are going to stay.

We were here through a hurricane. The staff was incredible. The people that really stood out was Trish, Brenda, Sue and Ty. They made our stay so much fun. Went well out of their way to keep us safe and very comfortable.

Hurricane Helene trip - flawless
For price, convenience and friendliness, this is my first choice for pre-cruise stays. The newly remodeled lobby is inviting and clean. Trish sets up a nice breakfast each morning, available at 6 a.m. Darrin, the guy at the front desk in the morning, was extremely helpful in setting up my transportation and the van driver was amazingly thoughtful and courteous. But my favorite, and a long-time employee, is Sue (I think she’s the front-desk manager. She’s over-the-top friendly and goes out of her way to ensure every detail of my reservation is flawless. She remembers and uses my name when we see each other or speak. Really nice stay… even through Hurricane Helene. And with a grocery store right across the street and many restaurants within walking distance, I had everything I needed. Safe neighborhood too. Thank you.

The staff were friendly. The property was clean and parking was easy. The non-smoking room 117 has clearly been smoked in. The facility should invest in some charcoal bags in the rooms. Or at least cut up 6 apples and put them under the beds for a week. The apples will absorb the odor.
