Great location.
Location is great. Furniture in the room low quality. Room was very clean. Kitchen area great. Love the fact there are washer and dryer in room. Wish they had a bar and coffee shop in the building.

Don’t book hotel room at the ROOST!
DO NOT book a room at ROOST! This is advertised as a luxury hotel. It is not at all! Upon checking in, there is nowhere to park to check in and there is no valet. Instead you park around the building and lug your bags across the way to the lobby. To self park and walk with your bags is 30$ here! It’s such a rip off! I pay that much for valet. When getting to the front lobby, it’s locked. No staff comes to help, so I wait to follow someone in with a key. They laugh and stay oops! Sometimes the front door locks on its own. Ok…mind you, my car is in an illegal spot in the street with my husband waiting to move it if asked by anyone needing to get by. Crystal was helping me and was very unhelpful. She told me to use the CC with my husbands name I need to go get him. So we had to go park in their garage, get a ticket, and go back to the lobby together. Crystal then asked where our parking ticket was??? Can I say that this hotel gives no instructions to get in, check in, or parking. This was a hassle. When we got to the room it’s stripped. There’s a bed with sheets and pillows but no chairs, no rug, no pictures, barely counter space. It was weird and small and NOT LUXURY! Omg it’s a crime to say this is luxury! The shared space was loud because the walls are paper thin and you could here all the people conversations, so that was fun. This is not comfortable or luxury. It’s a complete disappointment and I’m letting everyone I can how bad this “hotel” was. Never again.

Fantastic value. First off, the staff were amazing. Incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms and amenities were spectacular for the price. Beautiful pool area, much better gym than many five star hotels I’ve stayed in, and lots of spaces to work or hang out. The room I was in was a standard one but had a really nice bathroom, kitchen, and comfy bed. Kitchen had all the basic amenities inckuding coffee beans and a grinder (good strong coffee too!). If I had one complaint it would be that information on how to park and check in should be sent in advance. Very strange and difficult check in process (for me). That’s a minor complaint, though. I’ll add that Christina at the front desk and Nayesha at the pool were particularly helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this property.

Was a nice place for two, only issue was we found a q-tip and a contact lens on the floor near the front door in the room. Looks like the tried to clean the room but didn’t do a great Job at sweeping the floor. Location was great though, lots of restaurants walking distance from the hotel.

It is a 10 minute walk to Amalie Arena which made it very convenient. I truly enjoyed the staff all were very friendly. The room was spacious and a large window to look out.

We stayed in the studio with shared common area. Originally concerned about sharing we are now convinced. You have your own, normal room, but the added benefit of a fully equipped kitchen. The hotel is spotless and very modern. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend.
