I contacted the hotel before I checked in to confirm that cars were allowed and the person I spoke to said yes and allowed me to pay the fee over the phone. We checked in fine and they knew we had pets. When the cleaning lady came on Wednesday to clean the room we weren’t ready so we told her to come back in a few minutes. Next thing I know someone is knocking on our door and it’s the lady who works the front desk telling us they don’t allow cats, only dogs and that we either had to board our cat or check out. We decided to check and get a refund for the remaining 3 nights we had left. When I went to the front desk to check out the woman told I was only due a refund for one night, that it was showing in their system we were checking out the next day. That wasn’t the case and I had the paper they gave me when I checked in showing my checkout date as January 17th, but at the time since all my documents where packed in the car I couldn’t show and the lady wouldn’t do anything. It’s obvious that they changed the date we were supposed to checkout. Before we checked out my mom spoke to the manager and he assured us we would get a full refund for the 3 days that were remaining. To this day I still haven’t gotten a refund and every time I try to call and speck to the manager about this matter he never there. I tried called Expedia about this the same day and they called and spoke to the manager and even they were told I’d get a full refund yet I I’m out almost $300. Terrible!!!
