Book Tarentaise Valley hotels

The hotel itself is fine and the staff are excellent. But to describe the hotel as "ski-in/ski-out" is wholly misleading. The exit/entrance involved a dangerous traverse across about 100m of sheet ice. The hotel itself recommended against using the route, instead suggesting using the free shuttle. That runs about every 90 minutes, so is basically useless. So don't stay here if you don't want to have to drive to the resort each day. Also, don't make the mistake of buying the full Paradiski area pass - this hotel is so far at one end of the area you'll never make it over to Les Arcs and there is loads of skiing in La Plagne

Lovely stay at Hôtel du Golf. Great ski in, ski out location with easy access to the lifts to get you out on the slopes. Good food offering, we liked the variety at the buffet, and the afternoon snack. Good selection of drinks on all inclusive. Rooms were a little dated, but were comfortable and clean.

This property could use a serious facelift.

12/30/24- HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY. We had to catch a train at 5:55 AM. Cit'Hôtel le Welcome was the perfect place for it. Really less than 5 minute walk to the train station, therefore easy access to both the train and the Altibus to the ski stations of the Savoie! We did not spend much time there to enjoy the area, and the proprietor seemed very nice. We were in and out very fast. Quiet area, clean room with the necessary essentials. With a great imagination my daughter said the hotel reminded her of the movie "The Shining" with a green glow in the dark hallway. But I thought it was charming. If you have to catch a train or come in on one and need to take an early bus to a ski station, this is a wonderful place. They also have a kitchen serving breakfast and lunch. I would return any time.

The owner is very friendly and speaks good English. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, with a charming homely atmosphere which can really add to the experience. If I was staying in the same area, I will happily stay at this hotel again.
