Country Bliss couples oasis with salt water pool, only minutes to town

**Just opened up for the summer season is our refreshingly tropical looking salt water pool for our guests to use **

We are situated in a lovely quiet rural setting only minutes from town. We have lots of mature trees adorned with native birds adding to the ambience. On arrival you drive under a tree lined driveway to your private stand alone studio. You have private access to come and go as you please with spacious parking directly in front. We offer warm, comfortable, clean, modern accommodation that provides all the luxuries of a home away from home, with many special touches to surprise and delight our guests. From the time you arrive to the time you leave we want our guests to have the most memorable stay and the yearning to return for more

Inside you will find modern interiors in a spacious studio set up with brand new appliances, from a new coffee machine to the soft spa sized towels and bathrobes. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who like to cook with a bench top oven, hobs, slow cooker, microwave and a full sized fridge/freezer and an outdoor bbq. Alternatively we can certainly recommend some great restaurants, cafes or takeaways within a 2 minute drive.

Relax on the leather sofa while watching Netflix on our 55" smart tv or make use of the unlimited internet and get a bit of work done (we have an office chair available for added comfort to use at the table in the studio). The queen size bed is made ready for your arrival with clean quality linen, extra pillows, electric blanket. In the bathroom are extra large spa sized bath towels, soaps & toiletries plus soft bathrobes to enjoy after a shower. The studio has air conditioning which will keep an ambient temperature regardless of summer or winter conditions.

At the rear of the studio you can enjoy your very own private sunny courtyard with a small outdoor fire (we are currently making improvements to this area with screening, gardens and furniture to relax). Our guests are welcome to use the saltwater pool available during summer months. Or if you prefer to soak in hot springs there are a variety of great hot pools to visit within a 10 minute drive.

***NEW*** Add a touch of romance, luxury, and that special weekend away for your loved one (or destress during the work week). We have a wonderful mobile massage/reiki service which will come to our studio. You can choose to have it set up in the privacy of the studio or enjoy the outdoors in your back courtyard. We provide bathrobes for this experience and can organize candles, wine & nibbles, flowers or anything you may have in mind. Booking the massage and extras require advance notice and is at the guests expense. However we will endeavour to assist you if you decide while staying that you would like to book last minute.

Also take advantage of our picnic basket with blankets and enjoy a sunset looking down our gully over to Tauriko and the Kaimai hills or venture under our trees for a canopy retreat. Enquire in advance to prepare for a seamless experience or fill with goodies as you please to travel to any destination, highly recommend the beach at Mount Maunganui.

We do not provide breakfast but can arrange this upon request with an extra charge. Or enjoy the wonderful cafes nearby which we are happy to give directions to. We often have guests staying who are celebrating special occasions so if you would like anything extra set up for your stay please feel free to ask.

Attending Toi Ohomai or the University of Waikato for study? We are a 10 minute drive from Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology and 15 minutes for the Waikato of University campus in Central Tauranga.

If you are looking at wedding venues we are a short drive to The Orchard, Ataahua Garden Venue and Phoenix Valley. With many more amazing venues around Tauranga. Uber and Taxi services will pickup/drop off from our gateway.

We are right on the doorstep, so to speak, of the Oropi bike track. Bike from our house 100 meters up the road to the entry where you'll find lots of different tracks for different abilities. The Tect park is 18 minutes drive away also offering a variety of outdoor sports. Alternatively Rotorua offers a vast variety of graded mountain biking trails, all within a 45 min drive from us, very popular with tourists and locals alike.
