Temenia is a destination that has stacks of cool stories to tell. If you reckon your life's been a bit dull lately, a trip here is the perfect answer!

It's situated 300 kilometres south of the country's capital, Athens.

Spend a few hours walking along the shore and collecting delicate shells at Golden Beach or Elafonisi Beach.

There's no need to venture too far afield to experience some wonderful natural sights. Grab your car keys and make your way to Lake Kournas, 50 kilometres away from Temenia, for a chilled-out day. Or perhaps Aradena Gorge is of more interest? It's situated just 30 kilometres away.

Wild about sports? Then investigate the event schedule at Kissamos Stadium, located 25 kilometres to the north in Kissamos.

The Museum of the Acritans of Europe and Venetian Castle are not far from the centre of Kantanos-Selino, 0.8 kilometres to the northwest. Eager for more? Kissamos, 25 kilometres to the north of Temenia, is known for Falassarna Beach and the Port of Kissamos.
