The ancient market town of Tenbury is set on the River Teme and was affectionately referred to by Queen Victoria as ’the town in the orchard’. It provides a range of interesting shops, cafés and pubs, whilst Ludlow, with its fine eateries and restaurants, is only a short drive away. For walkers, Titterstone Clee Hill offers spectacular views from its summits, or if you prefer a more leisurely stroll, there are plenty of country walks through the Teme Valley, renowned for its growing of hops and cider apples. The cathedral cities of Worcester, Hereford and Gloucester are only a short drive away as are the National Trust properties of Berrington Hall and Croft Castle.
