The front desk staff is very friendly. There was a terrible stench in the hallway. Our room appeared clean and smelled like fresh paint. However, there was this hole in the wall, a piece of granite piece missing from the front of the bathroom sink, and the handheld shower head was not attached properly. Water sprayer out of the bottom of the head every which way. When I stay in hotels I do not take shower gel or a blow dryer because they provide. Our room had neither. When I went to shower the next morning I had not realized this. I did use the small bar of soap so that was fine. When I went to dry my hair that was a problem. The young man at the desk tried to be helpful but he came into our room and found that I was telling the truth about the blow dryer. I guess my wet hair and the language barrier challenging. Luckily I had time before our event and my hair air dried in just enough time to style it. The $150 deposit charged to my card on top of the $186 for the not so great room was ridiculous. Then to find out they wouldn’t credit my card back for 5-7 business days made me quite upset. Won’t be staying here again.

It was okay for one night. One pillowcase has something nasty on it. I left it on the dresser with a note for housekeeping. The pictures are not accurate of this location. The room was quiet, beds were a little too hard, and was shocked that the room deposit was $150 which was more than the cost of the room for the night. Also, the do not have updated bathrooms as the pictures show and same for outside of hotel. It is very misleading.

The hallways and room door exteriors were run down. They made us tack an extra $150 deposit onto our room at check-in on case of unexpected damages. They promised to refund it after check out if no damage. I'm 70 y.o. Btw. Inside the room was clean and comfortable except for mold on the shower caulking. Bathroom fan did not work. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was the usual and it was pretty good except for the scrambled eggs were water soaked. People who ranked this hotel above 8 are definitely not seasoned travelers.

Had to get a last minute room and this place charged us 400$ for the night. The lobby ceiling vent was black with what looks like mold and water stain. Got to our room and it didn't get better. Ceiling water stained, bedding were stained with what looks like pee. Asked for new bedding and the second sets were worse. Bathroom shower had mold and the paint on the ceiling coming off. The walls were sticky with brown, orange and red substances. Called choice hotels customer support, they took a complaint and asked for us to call back. Called back and their response was that management looked at the room and they don't see anything wrong and sent them pictures. Well I have pictures too.

The 2nd floor hallway smells slightly mildewed. The room was clean, and some of the lights turn off automatically. The bed was clean and comfortable but the comforter was stained so that can kinda gross you out. The breakfast was good and warm. Overall good for the price but beware of the fact this particular hotel does a $150 hold on your card for incidentals when checking in, regardless if paid for online already.
