Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel im Harz
Wir haben das Hotel Hoffmanns Gästehaus als Übernachtungsmöglichkeit gewählt, weil wir Karten für eine Veranstaltung in Thale gebucht hatten. Das Hotel befindet sich in einer alten Stadtvilla, die allerdings ihre besten Zeiten hinter sich hat. Parkplätze direkt am Hotel sind vorhanden. Unser Doppelzimmer im ersten Obergeschoss war klein und schlicht eingerichtet. Zimmer und Bad waren sauber. Frühstück am Sonntag wurde bis 10:00 Uhr angeboten. Leider stand auf vielen Tischen im Frühstücksraum noch benutztes Geschirr und wir mussten das Personal darum bitten, unseren Tisch frisch einzudecken. Das Angebot des Frühstücksbüfetts war gut. Das Nachfüllen der Speisen erfolgte teilweise nur auf Nachfrage beim Personal. Fazit: Für eine Übernachtung oder einen Kurzaufenthalt ist das Hotel o. k., für einen längeren Urlaub wünscht man sich mehr Komfort.
