I stayed at this hotel because it advertised comfort and reliable internet — neither were true. The bed was the worst I’ve ever slept on, old and hard as a rock (room 138). The internet stopped working my second day, leaving me with one bar of reception and completely unable to work. When I called the front desk, they first denied there was a problem, then admitted it was down and never fixed it for the rest of my stay. I even have pictures showing the outage. The next day, they tried to gaslight me about it, and the manager refused to speak with me or Expedia to resolve the situation.
When you’re in a remote area, internet access and a decent bed aren’t luxuries, they’re essentials!! If your “comfortable” beds are decades old and your “high-speed internet” doesn’t exist, be honest about it upfront. This was a terrible experience and a complete disappointment.
