A favoured room for smokers who could stand in the window to pretend they were law-abiding.
Butt, given that, still worth every euro of the £33!

This place was very simple and basic - bed was a sheet of MDF with a very thin mattress so sleep was poor. Dont bother paying for breakfast !
smallest room I have ever stayed in with the absolute tiniest bathroom ever. So tiny that the toilet roll was under the sink and the soap was at the back of the toilet.
The bed was made of a mattress only 3 inches think on a flat wooden slab.
There was barely enough room to walk around the bed. Stifling hot and no air conditioning.
Lack of organisation between Hotel.com and First C
There is some lack of communications between Expedia and First Class. We had to stand over 1hour in reception as the receptionist couldn’t get payment from Expedia. Although it had nothing to do with us but we had to wait until it was resolved….Not good enough at 1.30am….

Awful check in
The check in was abysmal. We arrived very late and although we had paid, the receptionist wouldn’t let us go to our room before he could charge the room to some card number on his system which unfortunately didn’t work. The card was registered to Expedia on his system but he kept saying that it was our card not working. Very Kafkaesque…. After an hour(!!!!) the system finally worked and we could go to bed, this was a dreadful experience… we pay in advance so to make things easy.
Perfect for an overnight rest if you have long to drive as it is located very near the motorway. It has a magnificent bakery nearby with hot fresh bread galore and a variety of croissants etc. The coffee is really tasty too. The hotel offers all the basics you need. The bed is really comfy.

Very good value for money with all of the amenities required for an overnight stop-over. Longer standard check-in hours than some other hotel chains took the stress out of a later arrival after a day of travelling.
Thin mattress and bedding poor. Pillows rubbish.
Hole in plasterboard- look like from a punch!
Shower was only good thing in room.
Night porter was pleasant and polite.
Stinks of smoke, not pleasant at any price. Yes it’s a budget hotel but avoid

Check in was difficult after driving 1000km, took about 15 mins, receptionist was unable to confirm if we had prepaid or not, we hadn't but left me wondering if i had paid twice. Lack of ensuite toilet was a pain but i guess it pays to read the smallprint.
One night stayed over to continue our trip back to UK. Hotel is very basic, shared amenity was not an issue but no sink to wash hand after using toilet was not very pleasant. Glad we didn’t stay longer than we had to as we shortened our trip around Arras. Overall it is ok for a place to stop over only.

Inexpensive room, no toilet, shower
Booked as a last minute stay, en route to next destination. It was not clear on Expedia that the room had no toilet or shower. There was a shared WC and shower for the hallway of rooms. Fortunately we were located close to it. Not recommended to stay here if elderly or have special needs because of this feature. Not sure if this hotel system has any rooms with private bathrooms? We stayed at a second one near Orly and found it the same as Arras. Ok if you don't mind the inconvenience. There are no frills to the rooms. Breakfast available for reasonable price but limited to cereal, breads, spreads and beverages.
The rooms looked like a dressed up fancy prison cell. The bed had hairs and other stuff on it had to use one of the blankets to cover myself from what was on the mattress sheets.
Comfortable budget option in Arras and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are not ensure and you have to use shared toilets and showers.
Extremely basic but very clean.
You get a small room with a comfortable double bed and a single above. A wash basin. A power socket. A TV. The floor has a vinyl covering which I think is better than grotty carpet. The showers and wc are in the corridor.
Everything is nice and clean.
For the money it's more than adequate.
It's nowhere near anywhere though so a walk into town isn't feasible.
A very clean and freshly aired room. Comfortable beds. Convenient for the motorway.

Perfect for a quick overnight stop
We stayed for one night on our way through France. We arrived late and were happy with the the quick and easy checkin. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Shared bathrooms were fine with surprisingly good powerful showers. Breakfast was basic but cheap and good to set us up for the onward journey. I would recommend for anyone looking for a quick cheap stopover. Good value for money when booked in advance
