Pros: Building was tall enough to be a landmark and 5 mins from the station. Modern and comfortable room, despite the size. Communal bath was a plus, facial cleansing and moisturising products were provided. Fuss free card key replacement - 5 mins. Cons: Room was not large enough to open a medium sized luggage fully without blocking door access. Service levels could be improved. Informed a staff that I would like to check in at the lobby to which her immediate response in English was “have you paid?” Asked the staff if I could borrow a large bowl as I had purchased some food, she replied that it was not possible which was fine but later on repeated my request to her colleague in Japanese following which they both laughed at the oddity of the request. No room service, collect your requested items from the reception. Unsuccessful attempt at greenwashing - hotel claims to promote sustainability and eco friendliness by offering smaller rooms and housekeeping service once every 3 days unless requested otherwise. New towels, single use toiletries and single serving refreshments and paper cups are however provided everyday in a large plastic bag hung at the door. Only paper cups provided for tooth brushing. The only drinking glass was not replaced during the housekeeping session, meaning I used the same glass for the entirety of my stay.

Great location. Close to station. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Hotel chain is very streamlined and concise. Rooms are small but comfortable and have everything you need. Great value. Great place to stay

We have always liked to use APA hotels in the past because of the Sento on site. It seems that they are trying to rebrand as a cheaper hotel chain. The Sento are still great but the rooms are noticeably smaller and seem to be more designed for the single business person rather than a couple with the tiniest bathrooms and the new beds with storage room underneath are the most uncomfortable I have tried to sleep on.

This is near the train station which is very convienient for travel just 3 mins walk. Our experience here checking in and out is very simple, and efficient. They have as well luggage area for early/late check-in/out which is convenient while waiting.

We stayed here for seven nights. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms are efficient and clean. I truly enjoyed sleeping in them. The control panel next to the bed was amazing. Did laundry there as well since we were headed to Osaka for another week. Mornings seemed to attract less people trying to get their clothes clean. A 5 minute walk to the train station and tons of food options all around us. Convenience stores as well. With all that near by you would think there would be a lot of “city noise” - nope. Not at all. It was a perfect stay. We will absolutely stay here again!

Great location as its less than a 5 minute walk to Otsuka station on the JR Yamanote line. Room is tiny but, that’s the norm for Tokyo. Staff was great, and they helped us arrange luggage forwarding, too!
