The best thing about this hotel is the location. It’s in the heart of the touristy area in Asakusa. Great hub to explore.
However, the room was tiny, even for Japanese standards. We paid over $300/night for a small twin room. Barely any room to open your bags or move around. The shower and tub were great, though.
Staff at the 1st floor were helpful and kind, and the breakfast staff accommodated my mum and her needs as she’d vegetarian.
The breakfast buffet was good, but for what we paid, I expected a lot more. The breakfast area is small, so be prepared to come early if you don’t want to be bumping shoulders with other guests.
I wouldn’t stay here again unless it was closer to $125-150/night for the room I had.
In comparison, I got my own room at the APA in Kuramae for $50/night. Granted it’s not a weekend and the APA is closer to 1 star, but still! They are overcharging and I personally can’t stand that.
