Great spacious rooms. Fairly quiet but even 14 floors up we could still hear the street below on a Saturday night in the early hours.
Rooms are aging gracefully but need more power points in the bedroom /lounge and some updating of bathroom and WiFi routers.
Staff were helpful and friendly. A QR code checkin left us wondering if our data was safe or being sold on Instantly to pop advertisers.
A comfortable stay but not the best area of Tokyo anymore. Edgy and rougher than we would have liked. The 24 hour party feeling has take. Hold. If that’s your thing then knock yourself out. We found right outside some dodgy characters offering everything from free drinks of we went to the club they pointed to ( a scam) though to harder and softer drugs on offer. No thanks and a shame to see the area go down with massively increased tourism.
This hotel has an amazing location in the centre of Shinjuku and close to the underground station. The bathroom was lovely and modern and although the rooms are small, that was all we needed as we were out everyday. The staff at check in were very helpful and quick. I’d definitely stay here again.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Located in quite a seedy district and the room was small - however the bathroom was quite generously sized with a bathtub included. Appreciated the free coffee machine the lobby
Hotel is at the heart of Shinjuku which is very central. Only takes a few minutes to walk to Shinjuku station. Room for 3 is very spacious and there’s actually enough room for 3 of us to walk around the room with our luggage open. The bathroom is designed for foreigners who can (finally) take a shower standing up. Breakfast is simple affair and staff are English speaking and friendly. They have freshly baked croissants which a staff member will walk around and offer to guests, which is really lovely. One thing though is the keycard was faulty which couldn’t be fixed and it was quite inconvenient to have everyone just hold on to one card. If you’re taking a taxi, there is no drop off driveway. It’s street side drop off on a single-lane 2-way street. There is a Lawson convenience store at street-level and a Donki store just round the corner from the hotel for all souvenirs, snacks and alcohol.
Was here for 6 days and wish I had booked a different hotel.
Hotel is old and the rooms are really worn out, beds are not comfortable, bathroom is small, they lack some of the amenities you would expect from hotels in Japan.
The area is sketchy, you are surrounded by those kind of people thay constantly ask you to follow them. It’s dirty in the area aswell.
This hotel it’s hard to recommend, I will definitely stay elsewhere again and probably for cheaper too.
Service was okay, unless you have to deal with this non Japanese gentleman by name Yunus, he is awful and will make every effort not to help you.
7 minute walk to the station and free coffee in the lobby.
Used luggage forwarding service and was able to store my luggage for a few hours upon checking out.
Overall, it's a good hotel. Basic rooms are very small for the price but this is Tokyo. You're in the middle of the action in Shinjuku with everything in walking distance.
Staff were very helpful and were able to hold our suitcases for us before check in. Rooms were okay but definitely not as nice as other hotels you could get in different cities for the same price. Dated decor and sheets that are too small for the bed. However I would stay her again over other hotels I’d stayed in the area as it was that touch but cleaner. It is in the red light area (which we knew) that wasn’t much of a problem as it’s pretty tame compared to other red light districts in the world and they didn’t bother us as foreigners probably not the best it you have young kids and the area itself smelt of cigarette smoke day and night
Great room. The property location is right at the Kabukicho, so transportation is pretty easy.
Kabukicho is a magic place where you can feel one of the modern images of Japan, however, the cost is this area is not that safe (It's still Japan, tho. So just relatively speaking).
The staff is pretty nice and devoted a lot to helping me fix my wifi issue.
Would consider coming back in the future.
In the heart of the Kabukicho, this comfortable hotel offers rooms wider than the classical Japanese business hotels. The place is convenient and affordable. I will return.
Very convenient location to dining, entertainment, train. Although there were far too many scammers hanging around right outside the hotel, and it got annoying after a few days. Unfortunately that isn't something the hotel has control over. The hotel itself was nice. Appreciated the laundry, the friendliness of staff and hotel amenities. The rooms were incredibly small though for two checked luggage and 2 people. I would stay here again but would spend extra on a larger room.
