Awesome hotel for families! We booked the Takumi room for our family of 4. It is so spacious that I would say 6 can fit. Back door of the hotel leads to the alley of night clubs but it still feels safe and clean to walk alone at night as everyone is very respectful. Closest metro station is Yushima.

Beautiful hotel with newly renovated facilities and room is perfect sizes with Japanese tatami sitting area. Room also has kitchenette with minimal kitchenware and big fridge which you can make simple meal in the room.

We are family of 4. We got this family room with 2 bunk beds. Kitchenette. Sofa. Internet TV. Modern design. Spacious. Beautiful public bath. Location is good, walking distance to Ueno station or Keisei Skyliner to Narita. Plenty of restaurants and convenient stores nearby. Self service Amenities bar ( toiletries, tea, coffee , slippers etc) is at the lobby. The only complaint is the back alley is a red light district. Japanese girls in school uniforms combing the street looking for customers. Ok if you travel with your family/friends. But I don’t know how it feels for solo traveler.

It’s the best hotel I ever stayed in Tokyo! My kids loved the bunk beds, room is very spacious which I can place all my luggages out and still have load of space to walk around. And the view of the park from my room is amazing! Location is just too perfect for those need to take Skyliner to/from Narita airport, 4min walk to the station and nonetheless only 20-25min to Shibuya/Shinjuku/Tokyo station by train. Too many good things about this hotel, will definitely come back in the future.

OVERRATED HOTEL
Guests had to use computer at lobby to do self check-in. However, the hotel only had 2 computers at the front desk. One of the unit broke down. So I had to wait for my turn on the only available computer. The family before me took about 10 mins to complete the check-in process. During my wait, I displayed dissatisfaction. An English speaking staff came to help me. She used her computer to complete the check-in for me. Before she showed up, a Japanese staff was at the check-in area. He just stood there and never offered any assistance. He could also help the family before me to expedite the self check-in process, but he didn't Hotel had a laundry room. The machine only accepted 100 yen coin. However, the laundry room didn't have any change machine. I had to go to convenient stores to change for coins. The area behind hotel had many clubs. I didn't feel safe at all. I would not bring my family to stay in this hotel again.

The hotel is new and well located in Ueno by the Keisei airport line. There are many washers (400yen/load) and dryers (100yen/30min), as well as ice and water machines on the 2nd floor. There are also indoor and outdoor onsen on the top 14th floor. Given the high nightly rate of this hotel, I would expect more amenities or a larger room for two people. There’s an entrance at the back of the hotel, but be aware that in the evening the neighborhood turns into a red-light district. While it is safe, it can be awkward to walk around with kids. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

It’s the best hotel we stayed in our entire Japan trip. We were lucky to reserve the family room before its grand opening and locked in a lower price. We enjoyed every moment of staying at the hotel. It’s new and clean. We love the public bath on top of the building. We wish to come back and stay there again if they offer rooms with reasonable price. Thank you!

First the good, the staff is excellent and very helpful. The building is relatively new, has nice amenities, and we had a great view of Ueno park from our room and from the onsen upstairs. The location is convenient and there are many shopping, eating, and transportation options nearby. The things that make it a 4/5 are that, while new, the finishes in the building and rooms are not as nice as nice as some other properties. Also it should be know that one side of the hotel faces Ueno park but the other opens onto a street with lots of bars and nightlife. It is by no means unsafe since it is Japan afterall, but something to consider.

We are a family of 4 and this was a perfect stay while in Tokyo. The park next to the hotel was best. It gave me a peacful view while drinking my coffee in the morning. The park has a near by zoo , temple, and museum. Location was close to the subway so easy to travel around the different locations of Tokyo. It is brand new so everything was clean. We love that the toilet is separate from the shower so it did not lock up the bathroom when there are 4 people. There are many walkable places to eat by the hotel. They provide hygiene kit and even facial care lotions. The beds were very comfortable and air condition worked great. The room was spacious enough for our family. Will stay here again when we go back to Japan
