Perfect ginza hotel

This hotel was perfect location to experience ginza and surrounding areas. With only minutes walk from the major shopping streets, to having a lawson natural right below it and not to forget the famous ginza don quijote while having a train station stop around the corner.. the hotel lobby as perfect vies of Tokyo tower with great views from the rooms of the city, with the lobby starting on the 16th floor and having bedrooms on floors beyond that. All the staff were very welcoming what I find every important when traveling to a countryside what is so far from my in distance and culture along with language barrier. When flying from haneda there is a 2 train ride to the hotel from the departures using the monorail.

The staff was really nice and helpful. But that’s as far as the positives go. On my previous stay this hotel was great, I’m not sure what happened in the past few years but the cleanliness and amenities have gone downhill. There are other hotels in more convenient areas of Tokyo that are cheaper and have more amenities. There is no self laundry option here. They had given us pillows that stank so bad we had to switch them, the staff at the front desk was very helpful and switched them right away, but it smelt so bad I wonder how someone thought it was okay to put on our bed. One of their selling points is the view,

The room was not 100% clean. When we first entered the room, we found chips on the floor underneath the sofa area. Informed the reception in the next morning and it was dealt with after room make-up. We reserved a taxi at 0700 on the day we checked out and required assistance at the reception to confirm the taxi number. Several minutes have gone by without anyone being there at the reception. Trying to approach the reception at the restaurant (which was just next to the reception) for help by calling someone, yet the restaurant receptionist insisted that he was not a hotel receptionist. Probably a language problem, but just not very helpful. We ended up almost entering the staff room and screaming hello for help... Hope there is perhaps an assistance bell or something so the staff could be notified immediately when someone needs urgent assistance.

Right by the train station and near ginza shopping street!! Across the street from a Don Quixote. Convenient, safe, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and amazing food options around. The rooms were very nice, some of the best I’ve seen.

Great location, clean, service mediocre

Expect tiny rooms and no bell hop service. Breakfast was decent. Location was great. No amenities. Not even a yard just a lobby and the rooms. I think it’s best for business where you just sleep, shower and are off.
