Pros:
-Location, 500 yen taxi to the train station, and Disney shuttle 5 min walk down the street with about a 10 min drive to destination.
-Close to convenience stores (Family Mart/Lawson's) and restaurants across the street (Royal Host restaurant was the most prominent).
-Free breakfast and it was pretty decent - it included: eggs (fried or hardboiled on plates for self-serve), rice, miso soup, cereal, fruit, curry sauce, assorted breads, coffee, and milk/water/orange juice. This was enough to get full in the AM. Relatively small eating area, it can fill up fast depending when you eat.
-Inexpensive compared to typical Disney/Tokyo rates
-Attentive staff, they moved our room immediately after the smell issue, brought us an iron and ironing board when requested, and gave us 2 extra pillows free of charge. Room cleanliness was good.
-Internet was pretty fast, around 60mb/min
Cons:
-Room is small and this is an older hotel. Everything from the exterior, to the interior carpet, beds, walls etc. I would not consider this "quaint", but did remind me of older small-town Motel-6s.
-Smell - being next to the aluminum plant/factory/shop, it was a daily dose.
-No elevator. Granted this place was only 3 stories. you have to go up the entrance stairs to check in lugging your suitcases up and down the stairs, and then to your room.
-No outside or side entrance, only the main entrance.
-Not a lot of room for laying out suitcases. We luckily only brought 1 big one for all of us, and we
