Hotel is ok if one has no other place to stay for the price. We just wanted to visit Fatima and there was no reasonably priced hotel in or near Fatima during our visit.
Check in and check out were easy and quick. There was no reception. People were nice but did not speak English at all. So, it was difficult to ask for anything. There was no one who could help us understand what they were saying.
The room was dark and so was the hallway and the stairs. There was no motion sensor. One has to turn on the light and it only stays on for a few minutes, and one has to know where the light switches are to turn on the light.
The room is very small and dark even with the light on. Bed was awful; it was sagging and one coul feel the spring. Bathroom was very small. Shower barely fits one small person. There were ants in the bathroom.
Breakfast was simple, bread, cheese, ham, jam, and butter. There was orange drink, coffee, and tea.
It is about 40 minutes by car to Fatima and about 10 minutes drive to Tomar where we visited the castle of the Templar and the Convent of Christ. It was worth a visit.
