Not your ordinary motel
The Belvada has character, from the reading room in the old bank vault to the lobby/sitting room. Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean (and appeared recently remodeled) with the same sense of character. Our two bed almost suite was a welcome change from compact functionality.

The Belavada is a beautiful restored hotel and fun to stay in. My only complaint is my room smelled musky and perhaps it’s time to clean the carpet. Everything else was beautiful.

The blend of old and modern in the room decor, comfort of the bed, downtown views out the window and the fragrant, thick bars of bath soap made this restored building feel like home. Loved the vintage furniture and piano in the lobby.

The belvada is beautiful we have stayed there a few times now. The hotel is wonderful the staff is wonderful. The area is okay it's not the best but it's definitely not the worst place we've ever stayed. I wish there was more places to eat and better casinos but that has no bearing on hotel. We'll stay there again when we're traveling through.

Beautiful old hotel. Refurbished to grandeur. Loved our room. Two things that I didn’t like. We got there about 30 minutes early. We were told that there was a $10 early check in fee. The place was empty. Seriously?! They have a beautiful espresso bar but it was closed.

Beautiful restored historic hotel
This is the historic property from 1906 and has been beautifully restored. Brooms are quite large very nicely appointed. The hotel has access to the restaurant across the street which was wonderful food mitzvah Jack Dempsey dining room.

This is a very clean hotel. It’s old but they have upgraded all of the plumbing fixtures and hardware. It seems very prohibition era’ish. The rooms are spotless and the 2 queen dog friendly room is huge!

Unique property. Very clean and the staff was excellent. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the property and the town from the gal who checked us in Saturday evening. The towels and linens were lovely. All in all it was a great and unexpected find for the weary travelers!

Would not recommend unless looking for simple "old
I believe I requested a handicapped room and was told at check in that there are only 2 in the hotel and they weren't ready yet, Had a different clerk when returned and don;t think he read about the "handicapped.: and gave us a standard room. No hand rails, no room in the bathroom to set anything, no comfortable chairs to relax in. Redone to look antique but anything but comfortable.

It was an awesome room, we were on a top corner facing out to their Main Street. Chris at the desk was great and super efficient. We didn’t get to fully enjoy the beautiful downstairs but hopefully next trip!

Beautiful historical hotel
Overall hotel is a great place to stay. It is pet friendly so we noticed some hair on some of the chairs and pillows. The bathroom floor had not been swept or mopped. There was hair in all the corners and spots on the floor. A table would be nice in our room.Other than that, it is a beautifully rennovated hotel with a lot of history.

A real gem
The new owners have done a superb job renovating this classic hotel. No creaky floors or thin doors. Air conditioning worked great. I especially liked their preservation of the wonderful, large lobby with comfortable furniture and a grand piano that was actually in tune. This is a great place. 2 suggestions which are not criticisms: the music in the bar is too loud for conversation; a grab bar in the shower would be nice.
