Clothes storage was severely lacking as only 1 very small closet with 6 hangers and no drawers so clothes had to be laid on top of each other. Also paid enhanced rate for DELUXE room which I don't think we were given.
Location is great! Super clean and friendly staff. Walking distance to our events and close to the public transportation.
Room was quite dark, but again, very clean. I have stayed atvthis location several times.
The property is right downtown. It's a charming spot with a good vibe.
The rooms are small but are cozy.
Cool lobby.
Convenient if you want to be in the middle of the action.

Very small rooms, no comfortable chairs in rooms, curtains and blinds won’t close. Poor tv channels line up.
I’d call it a $500 dollar motel 6.
Location was great.
Well located and excellent room. Restaurant service was slow but hotel staff fine. Room a bit small but fine for our needs. Exceptionally well apointed and clean.
Do not book the deluxe king room. Every one of them in the hotel is inches from the lift mechanism which is VERY loud. The head end of the bed is effectively in the lift. The hotel should not be selling these rooms. I have stayed in many hundreds of hotels and this is the worst room i have had. There are no curtains either. Just a poorly fitting black out blind and decorative edge curtains. Lighting is poor and the bathroom door did not fit properly. It's a run down property, with a bit of history.
We were eventually given a different room. This was smaller but I would have taken a broom cupboard as long as it was away from the lift. The hotel eventually gave a partial discount but the fact is that they should not be selling their deluxe king rooms in the first place and if they do they should staye the high levels of noise - something they feel it is acceptable not to do. I will definitely be avoiding Hotel Victoria during any future trips to Toronto.

This hotel was good overall.
It's in a great location which we can't fault, and the hotel is clean and amenities great (hair dryer, wash soaps etc).
Rooms are nice and staff are very helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable and noise levels were nice and low.
Sadly the following prevented me from giving it a 5 star:
- No safe in room (I'm not sure whether this is something I missed when booking but it's a definite must for me).
- Lighting in the room was poor (when trying to find things in our cases it was difficult to see anything and we had to use the torches on our phones.
- Air con wasn't good. We kept waking up as we were far too warm.
The other thing I found strange is that there are buttons on the doors for wheelchair access but to get into the property, you need to take a step to get into the double doors (two sets). It only caught my eye as I was trying to manouvre getting my cases through. It's not a step you can lift a person in a wheelchair up, they would need assistance to step in themselves out of the chair. Just something to note.
Other than the above though, in all honesty the hotel was good and I probably would return next year.
