A great 5 night stay in Toronto in a hotel with friendly and professional staff. A good location to get around the city. Check in was easy and the cleaning staff on our floor friendly The hotel is a little tired but still comfortable. Breakfast queue for Memorial weekend was almost unbearable and the staff worked exceptionally hard to smooth the process. I enjoyed my stay so much that we didn't complain about the bottle of water we were charged for that we didn't have! We would stay here again

The staff is especially welcoming and friendly at the Residence Inn-Downtown Toronto (Wellington Street). They always had a smile on their face and greeted you whenever you saw them with a "Good Morning", "Hello", "Have a great day", etc. This trip was in celebration of our 40th Wedding Anniversary and the staff even prepared a small gift of snacks and drinks, along with a handwritten card. The doormen/valet always had the door open and waiting for us as we came and went during our 3 day stay. I highly recommend this property.

1: Breakfast is very limited and not very tasty. I was there for 3 days and each morning breakfast is almost the same and very boring. 2: always line up for check in, breakfast. Only 2 ppl at receptionist. Waiting time is very long. 3: so far it is the worst Residnece inn I have even started. Hotel also charges for bottle of water in the room for $3.5… rediculous
