It was overall a decent stay for the price. Good location, etc. The first night, I was put in a room that had a lot of noise above. The lovely lady at the front desk switched my rooms the next day.
I made the front desk clear on my second night that my teenager had a few friends coming over. I told two different workers. At 7 PM, two of her friends were questioned while coming in about where they were going and how long they were staying. Which is fine, I understand Security. But then at 8 PM they called me to tell me They are reminding me that guest can stay no longer than 11 PM. I found that it was pretty overkill, considering I went out of my way to let them know twice. The room overall was great, but the sink in the bathroom was leaking, and when I asked them if the place ever had cockroaches, they said no, But I saw cockroach gel in all of the cupboards. You can tell it’s an older building, and there is no disclosure that the balconies are all going to be locked until you question them. Three different times I had to go down and get my card reactivated, they kept cancelling my cards. I will say that there was one lady there, she was on Night Shift once and then on morning shift, she was absolutely amazing.
I would probably go back and stay there again, but they just need to have more disclosure with some of their policies. I was also told that it was never an apartment building, but then a tenant who has lived there for over four years, started chatting with me.
