Very good

Overall this nice little BnB is very good. The hostess is very friendly and helpful with local sights etc. Unfortunately our stay was spoilt by a very uncomfortable mattress. There was a slant to the room which caused feet higher than head. Had to move around bedding and place cushions under mattress, but still could not sleep. The curtains were too thin, so at 530am the room was very bright.
We booked for 3 nights, but left after 2 due to lack of sleep.
Friendly staff who couldn’t do more for us. Room lovely and a nice size for a family. Breakfast delicious and caters for whatever you want. Thank you for a lovely week!
It was a wonderful stay. The property was well placed near to the beach(5-10 minutes walk). The hosts (Steph and Simon) were lovely. Especially Steph takes special care through out the stay. The room was clean and neat. The breakfast was really good.
A nice little hotel with very welcoming hosts. A good full breakfast every morning if wanted. Close enough to the beach and plenty of bars in restaurants within a short walk. Add good weather and all-in-all I had a great holiday experience.
The hosts Steph and Simon were very welcoming and helpful they were also very knowledgeable about the local area. We stayed in the family room which was fairly basic but comfortable and clean with plenty of space for all are belongings, the bunk beds on one side were open which was fine for my daughter (12) but might have been a problem for a younger child. The en-suite was very small but again ok for us. Breakfast was really good with a variety of cereals and fruit was also provided and nothing was too much trouble. The location is also very good for the town and seafront which was
walkable. We came on the train and walked up from train station which was also walkable. We didn't need parking but as with any busy seaside town I can see this could be an issue. The only thing that lets this hotel down is the general condition of the building and décor which could do with upgrading but other than that its a nice place to stay and the room rates are very good.
Main issue is the very limited parking at the hotel as it only has 2 available spaces otherwise it was a very enjoyable stay and the hostess could not be more pleasant and helpful.having a good knowledge of the local area and amenities.
Steph Recognized Me When I Arrived Although It Was 2 Years Ago My Room Was Very Comfortable Breakfast Was Also Well Done Each Morning

Ideal seaside location
Situated in main street, just short stroll from all facilities. Our room was very nice, guest lounge & dining area a bit dated compared to room. Friendly host, excellent cooked breakfast, only cereals offered otherwise. Main negative was parking, hotel only had 2 spaces, which need to be reserved when booking?? Otherwise you have to search on nearby streets for a space.
Just spent a lovely week at the Atlantis in Torquay Steph and Simon are very friendly and helpful people were nothing was too much trouble very nice breakfast and comfortable beds,We will be coming back.
My wife and I had an amazing four days at the Atlantis, the room was lovely and big the service was great would highly recommend a stay here. We will certainly be booking to go there again.
Couldn't fault the hospitality provided by the owners and the location is only a 5 minute walk to the beach front. Breakfast was great especially they're Lincolnshire sausages. We always judge the quality of a breakfast by the sausages!
On the downside, the walls were paper thin in our room and the next door guest kept my children up with his snoring. The en-suite facilities could do with modernising.
All in all though it was great value for money and the owners are fantastic.

Short Break
Conveniently located to town shops and beach. Hotel lobby attractive. Room was warm it was a Winter stay. Our room particularly bathroom needs updating. Squeeky door, poor shower. Bed mattress needs replacing.

Home away from home
Steph & Simon were wonderful hosts & are always there for a quick chat or great local advice about places to eat or see. I have stayed before & it hasn't changed, still a lovely hot breakfast before venturing out for a day. Only downside was we don't travel light & having to get our luggage up three full flights of stairs was a bit of a mission, as well as just getting up to the room.
The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was good. In the second floor bedroom, the tiny shower/toilet combo left the hand basin out in the bedroom. Due to the close proximity of the corner of the bed to the corner of the wall, it was a squeeze to get to and beyond it. The carpet was grubby and the whole hotel in need of a major facelift. I'm sorry to say we were disappointed.
